Bought This last month for my son and it works great

Works great

This was pretty great for the price when reading the specs and I wasn't disappointed when it arrived, the build quality is excellent, I experienced no deadzone / trigger issues or sticky buttons and no annoying clicking that some controllers tend to make, headset functionality is great and fine-tuning via the Free PDP App is most welcomed as it handles firmware updates quite effectively too, The controller comes with a decent cord length however I do hope a Braided variant may be available in the future as this would be a great feature for vintage enthusiasts, Overall It's a well made fuss free controller that delivers great performance and is indeed worth the purchase.

Quite impressive

I'm gonna give this controller 4 stars. I've had it almost two weeks now, and have been using it as my main controller and it works great. The sticks/buttons are all responsive and perform excellent. Overall, the quality is very good and I highly recommend this controller, especially if you can get it for under $20.

Quality controller for a great price

I was initially impressed with the quality of this controller. From the get go however, I noticed that the left thumbstick couldn't be clicked in unless it was straight, so basically beeping your horn while turning or anything else requiring this function was not possible. But after about a month or two the thumbsticks became squeeky with friction and eventually started to stick with no explanation. I believe it was a faulty unit and attempted to resolve the problem myself. I put a bit of degrease on the plastic thinking that would solve the problem.
I was unsuccessful. I wouldn't suggest opening it up as this didn't help. One of the rubber bits for the triggers fell out and I couldn't find where it was supposed to go.
If you do drop the controller IT IS RUINED. The thumbsticks high accuracy didn't last long as after a drop or two they needed recalibration and deadzone greatly increasing due to drift. But this is somewhat expected with drops, just be warned, one drop is enough so be careful. 
I have now purchased a PDP DX controller and will review that one in due course.

Sturdy controller but didn't last long

everything is great in my opinion, buttons are firm, included cable is long and sturdy, joysticks are good too, the rumble motors work great, my only complaint would be that the d-pad is not very firm or clicky (which is very important to me as i like fighting games) but i got used to it fairly quickly, overall its a great controller that offers very good value.

Great for PC

this is a good controller however we had issues with the headphone jack. we use a afterglow headset, which is from pdp (the manufacturers of this controller, and we were encountering a lot of distortion for the people we play online with. there also was no way to adjust the Mic volume when using this controller which could be why there was issues with distortion. we tried two different headsets and had the same problem with both. other than that this was a good controller. I found the volume controls to be unnecessary and more than likely the cause of the distortion.

Good controller, bad for online play.

After less than 10 hours of playing, controller broke down - audio output stopped working. It might be a design failure since it's very easy to pull out audio socket from  controller's motherboard just by holding headphones cable while plugged in. PDP need to address this issue asap.

Ok for that price

I just bought the xbox one pdp controller, I plugged in my turtle beach headset and the controller is not detecting any sounds, I know that the headset is not the problem as I tested it with my other original xbox controller. I tried everything i could to fix this but nothing worked, wouldn't reccomend it.
