I bought two of these for a cruise I went on recently and was so glad that I did. Bottled water is $7 plus I no longer trust regular water in general (bottled or tap) since getting my fridge-sized zerowater filter. I was able to keep these refilled in my cabin bathroom and pour them into another bottle to carry around so I saved a ton of money and it was super convenient. I also loved having it for the airport. I took the empty travel filtration bottle through customs and then was able to fill it at a water fountain for the flight.  One of the smartest buys for my trip.

I bought the silver tumbler a week ago. I was buying a new filter for our 23cup system and saw this in store and had to have it!

I'm not sure what the other reviews are talking about. It fits fine in my car cup holder and is a normal size tumbler just like a non-filter one I own. Both fit 26oz. The filter does not look as large as the picture shows (water makes it look larger). I only have to fill up my cup twice to get a full 26oz. The filter I have filters pretty quickly and takes about 5 or so minutes before it filtered through the top chamber.

Tested with my TDS meter and it reads 0. I love that I can bring this to work with me! I used to just have a regular tumbler filled with water from my ZeroWater dispenser and would have to refill with my work's 200+ TDS filtered tap water when empty. Now I don't have to worry! I'm getting ZeroWater anywhere I go!

I love it so much I've recommended it to my coworkers and I am going to buy another 1 or 2 for our apartment!

I purchased my zero water tumbler at Bed Bath and Beyond last week. It comes with two chambers - the upper chamber holds tap water and the lower chamber holds the filtered water - neither is very large. Also, the upper chamber sits loosely inside the cup, so you have to be careful about getting water in between the two because it will contaminate the water in the chamber below. Well there is a nice advertisement and instructions on how to put it together there is no information about maintenance. How often do you change the filter? How often do you wash out the cup? Every time you use it, after a couple of days, once a week? It takes about 10 or 15 minutes from the time you fill the upper chamber until the time the lower chamber fills with water. I put my cup in the refrigerator so that the water is at least a little chilled before I drink it. You have to be careful when you're filling the upper chamber because if you overfill it it will actually spill in between the upper chamber and the outside of the cup and leak down into the lower chamber. Once you screw on the lid it locks everything into place. I like the idea of a portable zero water tumbler. However because the filter is so large and displaces so much of the area below your actually only getting somewhere between possibly six to eight ounces of water with each filtration. I find I have to fill the cup about 4-5 times a day just working in my office which is equivalent to about I would say two bottles of water. It is bothersome to keep filling the chamber, however I like the idea that I'm no longer using bottled water.

Pro:  water is very good.
Con:  slow, repeated filling needed. only a fraction of its 30 oz capacity available at once. Expensive filters

The 30 oz includes the unfiltered water.  The actual drinking reservoir is much smaller and cannot be filled in one shot since the unfiltered area is smaller, so you need to stand around for a few mins, to top it up if you want it completely filled.  That said, if you want water that is this well filtered, you have to accept the reality of the technology.  A 5 step filter is going to be slow and expensive.  Im just not sure that i care enough to put the time and money into this.  Brita may not filter as well, but it is cheaper and faster.  Your choice.

Excellent water, at a price

I have purchased both portable tumblers. The filtration system and taste of the water is excellent! However, I do not find the tumblers very portable at all. It is great for at home use but not so good for on the go. I have taken both versions with me while traveling on airplanes and car road trips but fining them to be too bulky. The filter is quite large and it does not allow enough water in the container to last entire flight, nor does not fit in a basic size car cup holder. I highly recommend the Zero Water filtering system but I only wish it was really more portable.

I got the silver tumbler for my birthday. I drink 4-5 bottles while I`m at work. This thing takes 10-15 minutes to fill as you have to fill it up 3 separate times!!!!!!!! Also it`s not very portable as the filter in this thing is massive! I would not recommend this product.

Takes way to long to fill!

the filter in niagara only last 3 weeks 35 fill ups less than a bottle of water. its cheaper to buy a case of bottled water. the filters don't last in any of the zero water products. I bought the pitcher too, the filters only last 30 days that's about 100 fill ups 4 larger glasses. Zero water is the most expensive water ever. you do the math. Zero water needs to work on the filters more. I can buy premium bottled water for less. lol

Zero Water

I had this bottle for less than two weeks. The water had a weird plastic taste to it. I did wash it before using. Also the bottle is not durable at all. Mine fell a couple of inches from the floor and broke into little pieces. You would think a water bottle would be able to withstand a fall. Bottle line I was very dissatisfied with this product and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Just wish I could get my money back for it !

Bottle is poor quality

Bought this a few months ago when I realized the place I worked didn't change its water filter or hoses (there were black flecks of mold floating in the water when I would fill my cup). I love that I can see how much gunk this catches, but it takes way too long to fill; the opening for the bottom of the filter is too small. The lid doesn't screw on securely enough or screws on crooked. If I just pull on the lid a tiny bit it pops right off. The lack of a secure lid also means the cup leaks from the top if it is over filled ( which I needed to do often since it took so long to fill, I didn't want to make multiple trips). I love the filter on this cup, but I wish the bottles were similar to brita filtered water bottles, where it filters as you drink, not as you fill.
