I've bought these Space bags in the past and had very poor results with them. They were difficult to close and rarely stayed airtight. So it was with great hesitation that I broke down and bought some more. I'm moving and really needed something like this product. Well, I am delighted to say that they are vastly improved over the previous model. They are as easy to close as a regular sandwich or gallon style bag that they make, and every single one of them is sealed tightly. I'm so happy, I'm going to buy some more!

I tried these out recently because we don't ever seem to have enough storage at home (does anybody?!). I was able to fit all my daughter's summer clothes into 3 bags and stored them in one tote and had room for more! I have been trying to think of other places in my house I can use them!

Amazing!

Storage space is always problematic in my apartment, particularly in Summer. Why? With only one linen cupboard, it's hard to store Winter bedclothes. The spacebag lets me compress quilts and blankets to one third their original volume. After laundering, I store each quilt and blanket with a scented dryer sheet. When the weather turns cold, they emerge fresh and ready for Fall.

An extra cupboard

It is getting colder and I need to put away summer clothes and bring the winter clothes out. I usually use plastic storage totes but over the years I found that I don't have enough space. Plus the clothes doesn't store that well. I have been wanting to try the Ziploc space bags as a solution. It really saves space and I think the clothes will be more protected and fresher.

Changing seasons and I needed these!

I tried this product to organize some of the out of season stuff I take out of my closet. The product held about 12 sweaters, and it when I vacuumed the air out of it, it worked really well. It is a convenient size for me because I was able to just slide it under their bed until I need it again.

Easy to use with the vacuum already in your house!

these would probably be useful if you had a large flat area to stack them in. I wanted to compress uneven things like blankets or mattress pads; the resulting package is so lumpy and stiff it took up almost the same space as without the bags..I guess if they were inexpensive enough to buy one bag for every item, then carefully flatten in smooth it might be useful. I did put yes on my recommendation only b/c the bag did hold the vacuum.

I've bought these bags MULTIPLE times because they get micro sized holes in them after you vacuum all the air out for storage...hence letting air back in!! After listening for the airhole...Taping the bag doesn't help! What a waste of my time, money and hopes!

Waste of your hard earned money

I've bought so many space bags. All work great the first time, but none have worked beyond that. They tear or the seals break. I know I'm not over filling because I put less in the bag than directed. If you don't include a dryer sheet, the items stored take on a plastic-like odor. I'd give 0 stars if I could.

Terrible if used more than once

I've bought this product on at least five occasions; only about 2 out of 3 (at best) will seal; the "zipper" design needs a complete redesign, if these are to operate consistently. Extremely frustrating to use, as time spent on carefully packing the bag is wasted when the vacuum is lost. Unless this product is somehow improved, I will not buy it again, and will not recommend it.

Expensive trash bags

I have 9 bags that DON'T work. Yes, they compress down and in less than a week they are back to full. The only bag that still works is one of the first ones that this company made years and years ago. Sad story is I bought a competitors and they don't work either. I went back to Ziploc about a month ago and neither bag works. I've come to the conclusion that products made today are of poor quality! My suggestion to those of you that buy these, do not put the bag in a location that won't accommodate the bag before compression (i.e. not under your bed).
