It was a fun game with chaotic actions happening a bunch of times. a few confusing parts with how the cards work and definitely a bit more of an advantage to the Zombie players and a small advantage to the survivor players. The cards were a bit confusing when there are 2 cards with the same function but look completely different, do they cancel each other out or we can play them both is a big question we had. definitely challenging when there are only 3 players since the zombies get the extra player no matter what. a way to have extra burrito's for the survivors when they get the extra burrito card if they don't have another burrito game or a burrito shield when they draw the shield card.

Exploding Kittens

We really like Throw Throw Burrito, but Zombie Burrito is even better. We really enjoyed having teams and the strategery that this game brings to the concept of Throw Throw Burrito. It's wacky, a ton of fun, and even the less coordinated throwers have a chance to win - it is a great group game!

Even better than Throw Throw Burrito

We have nearly every Throw, Throw a Burrito game and expansion (e.g., inflatable outdoor version, Throw, Throw Avocado), and this is a great addition to the lineup. Half of the our family thought it was the best of the bunch. Our family has enjoyed it immensely and the advantage cards and the distinct burritos really increases the strategy with this game. This was augmented by the start being less panicky and allowing for more thought among the team members. Our family ran around the room playing it, screaming (playful fear kind), and laughing. I also like how the game itself picks the teams rather than friends and family necessarily playing with their traditional ally. Honestly, this game reminded us all of playing dodgeball, but it also took away the advantages of stronger and more athletic team members because there is so much room for plans and scenarios within a team. An absolute thrilling game that we look forward to playing at our family reunion this summer with even more people! If you are even thinking this game might be for you, do not hesitate picking it up. It is phenomenal!

Another Great Burrito!

We played this for family game night and it was a blast! Our kids are little, so we played "taking turns" because it was to hard going fast and playing the traditional way for them. They loved it, and when it was time to battle we laughed the whole time! I definitely recommend this game if you want a fast and interactive style game!

All out war! So Fun

This game is a hysterical romp back to childhood and the days of playing dodgeball. Only now you're doing it with squishy yet adorable burritos. Exploding Kittens is known for fun art and this game is clearly a member of that family - well designed, easy to understand rules - an opportunity to be silly - a welcome respite from adulthood that can be enjoyed by kids of all ages. Make sure you clear some room and put your priceless action figures out of harms way. The game is played in teams with each team collecting sets of cards to help in the battle phase of the game, there is some easy to understand strategy involved. When it's time to fight - it's literally throwing burritos at each other - I haven't laughed that much since we played Anarchy Pancakes! It's a simple to understand game that is a ton of fun and will be a great addition to your next game night or party get-together. Enjoy!!

Silly, fast-paced escape from adulthood and existential dread.

Fast-moving and fun for the whole family! The only downside (according to our 12-year-old) is that a round doesn't last long enough. We older folk disagreed. The Advantages and Disadvantages mean that every round is at least slightly different, which is a nice change from the standard Throw Throw Burrito. We'll be playing it often!

Another Awesome Game from Exploding Kittens!

Zombie Burrito takes an already fun premise and refines it. The two most fun elements of Throw Throw Burrito to me were always the Chaotic Burrito Wars and the Climatic Burrito Duels. Zombie Burrito takes these two elements, combines them, and makes them the star of the game. The hectic battle build up is still silly fun, teams bring in grade school dodgeball nostalgia, and the the team ability mechanic spices up the new battle format. Great update to an already great game and new go to opener for game night!

Fun Twist on an Already Great Game

This was a great new version of throw throw burrito! Our family played the original many times when the kids were younger, so it was great to get a chance to play this version. There were four of us playing, and it generated a lot of laughs. I think it would be even more fun with 6, the mayhem would be that much greater! All in all a really fun way to spend a few 10-minute rounds!

Fun Addition to the BGU - Burrito Game Universe!

Having played "Throw Throw Burrito" many times, Zombie Burrito took the game to a new level. We found that being able to play the game outdoors was more fun (and less dangerous) so this game will become a summer staple for our family. After a few rounds, the adults decided to turn the game over to the boys (aged 10-15) and that's when the apocalypse happened - they had a blast! Oh - the burritos appear to be pool-safe, by the way.
