Zoomer Chomplingz – Z-Rex Interactive Dinosaur is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 54.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Interactive Toy I received Zoomer Chomplingz Z-Rex Interactive Dinosaur free as part of a promotion for my honest feedback on the product. My 7 year son was so excited when this toy arrived, he was playing with it 5 minutes after I opened the box. The box was easy to open, the instructions were clear and after installing 3 AAA batteries we were off and playing. The Z-Rex plays several games and his eyes will change colors depending on the game you are playing. My son's two favorite games were the catch game, where Z-Rex will catch his bone several times and the last time he will chew on the bone. His other favorite game was the sound warp game he loved the sounds the Z-Rex made. He was a little disappointed that Z-Rex did not walk on his own you had to move him manually but that didn't stop him for playing with it for over an hour. The Zoomer Chompling Z-Rex is very well made and durable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun Lil Dino! My kids have loved playing with the Zoomer Chomplingz Z-Rex Interactive Dinosaur for the last few weeks! My 6 year old daughter has one of the Zoomer Zuppies and never plays with it, finds it very boring, but this little guy has lots of different fun features and she loves it! He has 4 different modes & his eyes change fun bright colors with each mode. The Chomplingz have mouth and nose sensors to sense where you are which makes the games of catch & hot hands fun and makes them great guard dogs! He is even fun in default mode. My 2 year old loves to carry it around in the default mode with it growling and chomping away, with the occasional "toot" if she hits his tail just right and my girls crack up laughing! It would have been nice if this toy came with batteries, as it takes 3 AAAs and for $40 it seems like they could put batteries in it. I revieved this toy for free in exchange for an honest review through Bzz Agent and highly recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My kids love their "Dino-bot" I am reviewing the Zoomer Chomplings Z-Rex. I received this product free from BzzAgent in order to review it. My kids have been dying for a Zoomer for quite some time, and they love dinosaurs. So, this was a win/win. They were so excited to open it and get started. There is a small battery compartment on the belly of the dinosaur. I had a difficult time finding a screwdriver that would fit. I had to use a small pointy screwdriver to get it open. One thing I really like was that the battery back was attached by a string so you can’t lose it. Once the batteries were in we turned it on and went through the different modes. It took some time to understand what each mode did, and to learn how to play with it. We were able to get it to cluck like a chicken by waving our hands in front of it’s face slowly, but we weren’t able to get it to beat box by waving our hands quickly. We were able to enjoy the other modes and have fun. He growls, plays catch, guards objects, and plays games with you. The catch game is somewhat difficult, unless you have perfect aim. They still enjoyed placing the bone in the Z-Rex’s mouth rather than throwing it in his mouth. The Z-Rex also has eyes that change color according to his mood. I felt like my kids were too young to really care about this, my oldest is 6 1/2, but some older owners may enjoy it more. They really enjoyed the interactions, even if they didn’t play out perfectly like the instructions show. There is a short learning curve for some of the modes, but all in all the kids really love it. Even though they don’t do everything perfectly, they still want to wake up their “dino bot” and play. We are very happy with the product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Neat toy! Received the Z-Rex Chomplingz from BzzAgent to test and try the product. My 5 yr old grandson and I had a good time playing with it. It was easy to install the 3 AAA batteries. The Z-Rex is small but does a lot. My grandson loved the guard mode, he played games with it trying to get the bone in its mouth. He thought all the sounds and noises it makes were pretty cool. Of course the one of it passing gas was probably his favorite. He likes it eyes changing colors when it is in different modes or getting ready to do different actions. We have the Zoomer Kitty and he played with both of them together for hours this past Saturday. I think it is a great interactive toy for his age group and older. Would be nice if you could charge it using an USB port instead of having to replace batteries. Would make a nice Christmas gift.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The boys can't leave it alone We haven't been able to figure out all of his features yet but the boys (ages 7 and 5) are extremely intrigued with his varies colors that his eyes change with his moods. This toy is quite loud, continuously roaring and other sounds, so parents should be aware of that. I'd say it's a great toy to buy for Grandma's house, lol! My favorite feature is the battery back being attached by a ribbon so it doesn't get lost, like so many other toys they've had.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty Nifty I have two boys. Can you guess their favorite feature of the Z-Rex? They pull it's tail over and over and over... lol This is a really neat toy. It is interactive enough to impress my boys (2 and 7). My 7 year old loved setting it out and then calling me to wherever he was so that it will growl and roar at me when I come near it. My 2 year old liked feeding it whatever food he was eating. It's not ideal but hey, he's two. Overall I think this is a really cute toy. It is moderately priced for an interactive, unique toy. On the downside, it hasn't really kept their attention past 2 days. When they see it they will mess around with it for a minute but then they are done - the novelty worn off. I would recommend this to any robotic/dino lover. *I was gifted this product in exchange for my fair and honest review.*
