2 slices Dempster’s® Whole Grains Double Flax bread lightly toasted
3 tbsp low-fat mayo
2 tsp Maple Syrup
1 tsp Dijon Mustard
4 slices Canadian back bacon (peameal), fried in non-stick pan
12 slices Macintosh apple (1/4”)
4 ozs Cheese curds


1.      Heat a non-stick frying pan on medium-high. 
2.      Cook back bacon 2 minutes per side, remove from pan and set aside. 
3.      Toast bread according to taste and place both slices on a cutting board. 
4.      Preheat broiler. 
5.      Mix mayo, maple syrup and Dijon together until smooth. 
6.      Divide maple mayo evenly on each slice; top with cooked back bacon and sliced apple. 
7.      Top with cheese curds and put under the broiler for 2–3 minutes or until melted.
8.      Serve with extra maple syrup if desired.

Tip: Substitute Dempster’s® Whole Grains Double Flax bread with any one of the Dempster’s 100% Whole Grains varieties.
