We ordered this and yes there are hot spots but its not unworkable. I love it. It makes family style breakfast much much simpler.

Perfect size for my family

The griddle is absolutely fantastic for cooking large meals on. Our old griddle was to small and our kids had to wait for there food. With this large griddle I'm able to cook everyone's food at once so that nobody is left waiting and watching others eat.

This griddle works great!

I purchased this griddle specifically for making Papusa's and ended up using it for smash burgers, veggies and much more.   It's high quality easy to clean and spacious.

Large cooking surface equals freedom.

recieved the griddle a couple weeks ago. i have used it weekly and it's great except for two things:

1. the handles slide so the griddle tilts and grease runs away. they seem a little loose and can move when you don't want them to.
2. on this size of griddle a 3rd. heating element would have been nice, it would give a more even heat. i wouldn't minded have paying more for this.

overall the griddle is great and i gave it 5 stars for everything.

Presto BigGriddle Cool Touch Griddle

I finally have a pancake griddle big enough to make good pancakes for my large family. The pancakes turn out perfect every time. My only complaint is the removable drippings drawer does is not secure in its place...so when you pour liquid into it, it slides out. But that is not going to be a problem for me as I don't do grease! This griddle is great for pancakes and grilled sandwiches...yum!

BIG Griddle!

I haven't had it long so I can't speak on longevity. It's perfect for cooking a big breakfast, and I can  easily make two batches of six big pancakes at a time to freeze for my husband's breakfast during the week.

Overall, not a bad alternative.   I learned very quickly to do two things.
1.   Get a good griddle spatula (doesn't scratch type)
2.   Spray cooking area with cooking spray - each use

Very handy and quick to make a wide variety plus the tilt feature is great for bacon, sausage drippings etc.  Excellent for pancakes, buttered toast, and eggs.  Patty Melts as well.

Tilt Griddle

I typically really like Presto products, I've found that this particular item offers a similar internal capacity to the standard size. Additionally, I absolutely dislike how difficultit is to clean. I regret this purchase. Save money and buy the original size.

Awful, doesnt cook evenly! I am SHOCKED that this has so many 5 star reviews. The heating element is too small for the size of this griddle. Some parts barely cook (dead center) and the corner next to the probe cooks so fast that the food burns. Ive included a picture where you can see the heating element in comparison to the size of the griddle. The element should be evenly distributed throughout the griddle not just in a circle. Poor design especially for the price! Returning this ASAP. Dont waste your time with this product

Awful! Doesnt cook evenly!

The box came damaged and looked awful didn't wanna wrap this up for a wedding gift. The way that box looks so I took it back to the Walmart store. I would really like to have one for the wedding that the box isn't destroyed. I have gone to every Walmart within 150 miles from us and can't find one like it. And haven't succeeded yet.
