Follow the directions and it is an easy installation. It was more difficult to remove my old fan than to put this one up. I did it myself, I am a 60 year old female. Runs quiet; lights are rather bright.

I am happy with this product. I especially love that the blades have two color options - I chose the lighter color.  very handsome product. I will be ordering another since there is space for 3 fans on the patio.

Great addition to our craftsman style home. The fan is very quiet, yet is very efficient in moving air. The light on the fan is bright  and provides the perfect amount of light on our porch.The price was also excellent!

Solid Purchase

This fan is really a beautiful piece when it's installed. It looks expensive. The rubbed bronze and seeded glass make this so much more upscale than your standard fan. We used the barnwood side of the fan blades and it's quite charming. No rocking or strange noises when installed and gives quite a bit of light. This was a great purchase.

The lights are a great touch and provide a whole world of new light we didn't even know we could have. This fan is great overall.

Very nice

This is a very nice looking ceiling fan, especially at this price point.  I did knock off one star because in order to switch between summer and winter mode you have to remove the entire globe to access the switch.  Extremely annoying and would have been easy to put the switch on the outside.

Beautiful fan

Can never get the glass centered and the lights don't disburse the light.  The candelabra inside does not allow light from the bottom, just around the edges.  I had this in my living room and relocated to a spare bedroom just because the light was not bright enough.  Not worth the money in my opinion.  (Light is not on on picture)

My switch has went bad on the light, and the light is not bright enough, it only has 3 small little bulbs which is inaccurate wished I didn't about it
