Design

Great waterer. My two dogs are as happy as can be. They love it, and I do too. Now they have fresh water all the time.

Very practical and nice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We absolutely love this ever full pet water bowl dish! This is a life saver living in the Texas heat. My dogs loved having cold, fresh water, and I love not having to refill.

Life saver

Good, because one of ours came with a small dent, and inside the box was a brochure where they showed smaller sizes made from plastic that would have been fine. I have four small dogs and want them to always have fresh water outside, one in the front yard and one in the back yard for when were not home and they are inside the smaller fenced area.

I had one of these automatic waters (AW) before that I bought from a local pet store. It lasted about 2 years before it rusted out and began to over flow. The pet store did not have any in stock so I order the same type off of the internet. The only difference between the two, is that my first AW had a float that you could bend the metal arm to control the water level. This new model you need to make the adjustment by working a nut and bolt, that can come loose, as it did within two weeks. The bowl began to over flow. I made another adjustment. I just don't like this nut and bolt thing. The bend arm on my old one was perfect. Oh well, It still serve its purpose, I would buy another one.

The float

Works well but the small hose started to leak only 3 months into use.

Float didn't work well, probably needed adjustment. Dogs chewed the water inlet which is plastic so not ideal if you have chewer puppies.

I love how I can just attach this bowl to the water hose and not worry about my dog being without water. My dog seemed to like it at first but then I noticed if there was a puddle of water in the yard or another water bowl, he preferred those over this automatic water bowl. I wonder if the metal gives the water a strange taste for him.

I like it...but my dog doesn't seem to

The float does not seem to adjust properly and the water always fills to the very top of the bowl and causes it to run more often than it needs too. Within a few weeks, the "galvanized" product began rusting. I am returning the product as I feel it is not safe for my dogs to drink the rusty water.
