This large cutting board measures a generous 24 inches long, 18 inches wide and is 2.25 inches thick. Reversible: one side is perfect for carving meats and features pyramid shaped meat stabilizers, juice groove and drip tray. The reverse surface is flat. Cutting board features classic edge grain construction and is made from sustainably sourced, hand selected solid Northern maple wood. All John Boos Cutting Boards and Butcher Blocks are Proudly Made in the USA by skilled craftspeople, John Boos is proud to offer a one year guarantee against defects in workmanship and materials. Care: hand wash and dry. Apply John Boos Mystery Oil regularly (more often in dry climates, and when the board is brand new), use John Boos Board Cream to seal the wood surface after applying Mystery Oil. Easy to clean off although it does have treatment oil that it occasionally needs so it's a little high maintenance than your average cutting board. The design is nice and versatile I can use either side and it has the neat little catch tray. I love this cutting board even if it's a tiny bit large.

I don't have a lot of counter space so that's the biggest drawback for me is its size, i have a hard time finding a place to store it. Quality is great though, love the textured patch in the middle. If you've got the space i say definitely go for it.
