This is very easy to use and set up.  I use it almost constantly.  I got the tall drafting chair with the tractor seat so I could perch myself over it and still work at my desk.  For watching TV on the couch, just plop it down in front of you.  I suppose you can stand on it but I bought it to use while sitting.  In my opinion you could ignore the weight limit as long as you don't stand on it but that's just my opinion.

THIS was a shot in the dark ..knowing Nothing about a stepped for the house I DID well ordering this product I did read all the reviews and they were correct ...easy to assemble but it is a heavy machine. 24 lbs.. glides smooth and is a good work out when your cant make it to the gym

Nice stepper ...sturdy....non slip....smooth glide

I like the overall look and style of the elliptical. The stride is short, but once you get used to it, it's very easy to use. Mine started making a sqeeking noise last week, and I am not sure why? I will likely end up exchanging the machine as the noise is quite loud.

confusing position... controls can't be adjusted they way they are facing.  i reversed position of machine to reach them but screen is now upside down.  Works great so far!

needs tweaking

This item is said to be appropriate for use in an office setting but it is so noisy that it sounds like you're at the train station  so it makes it difficult to work out to this level of noise...after I applied lubricant to the moving parts  the noise is less but it is still bothersome.. the other issue is that it is quite bulky so if you have limited space you have to move it afterwards and it doesnt have a handle so it is difficult to move

Workout

I have had this about 3 weeks and like the workout I can get while sitting at my desk all day long. Will work your gluts, thighs, calfs, and abs. But, it is squeaking loudly the past 2 days while pedaling and the meter is hard to read.

After using it for a couple of times, it started making a loud noise. The customer service at Stamina responded very quickly. They sent us a whole new body for replacement. This is as for as I can go in this review. I will let you know how the new part fixes the problem and the durability of the product.

Real Noisy

Started making grinding noises less than a week in

It's ok. You only get a good work out when you stand up on it, but after exercising on it for 5 days it started to make this really bad grinding noise. I put some WD 40 on it and the noise went away for now. Im afraid to stand up on it again because I don't want it to do that again. I really wanted to love this.
