I upgraded my strength training from calisthenics to this 76-lb weight set, and I get great resistance using them while doing tai chi type of movement (with smooth, gentle rotations while holding weights).

Perfect for home gym!

I am a beginner after lapsing for a couple of years so I needed to start with a basic set of light weights.  I really like the coating, the colors and the storage shelf unit is easy to assemble.  I could admire them but need to use them to get back on track with my fitness program!

Value-Priced Free Weights

The item arrived as expected. The stand was easy to put together and is sturdy enough to hold the weights. Although no instructions were provided on how to put together the stand, it was easy to figure out where and how to place the screws. There is no negative comment to say about this item.

I am so glad I purchased this set of weights. I have an injury that I am rehabbing through daily home exercises and physical therapy. The weights are helping me to reach a goal, ultimately, of more strength and better functionality. A good purchase for anyone in need .

A Very Helpful Aid for Future Improvement

A set of weights can get expensive! I compared various online shopping options -- this set of 5/10/15-lb. weights w/stand I found on Walmart's online shopping site beat the prices I was finding elsewhere. I wasn't sure what to expect at the lower price. I needn't have worried. The weights are solid quality, and the metal stand holds all six weights securely. Shop around... compare prices... and you may just end up here! :-)  :-)

Excellent quality at a reasonable price.

Overall nice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The weights are great and the stand was very easy to assemble. It is a wonderful value. However, the weights are not the color that they are in the pictures. The 10 pound and 12 pound weights arrived in black and navy, and I actually really liked the way they looked in the pictures, so do not be fooled. It will not be what you're expecting.

The plastic stand is incredibly cheap and flimsy. Plus two of the screws for the stand were defective. Had to scrounge some from my screw bin. The other thing I don't like is that the 8 pound weights have very thick/fat grips. Nothing remotely 'right' about that. I'm keeping these weights because it's more hassle than it's worth to return them. My advice would be to pay a bit more for a more standard set of weights.

You get what you pay for!
