This cutting board measures 24 inches long, 18 inches wide and 1.5 inches thick. Reversible: this cutting board can be used on either side. One side of the cutting board features a deep juice groove/juice well, the reverse side has a completely smooth and flat cutting surface. Cutting board features classic edge grain construction and is made from sustainably sourced, hand selected solid Northern maple wood. All John Boos Cutting Boards and Butcher Blocks are Proudly Made in the USA by skilled craftspeople, John Boos is proud to offer a one year guarantee against defects in workmanship and materials. Care: hand wash and dry. With it being so big, it's a little harder to clean but it is 100% worth it. I love how it has the grooves on the edges to let any liquids flow into it. So happy I received this!

Stunning

The dual sided cutting board has grooves on one side, specifically for cutting meat. The other side has a smooth surface for any other cutting. This cutting board is a SOLID piece of wood so beware of the weight this thing packs on. Love how much surface area you have to work with. 5 stars!! ⭐️

Heavy-duty woodwork

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the quality of the John Boos Large Maple Wood Edge Grain Reversible Cutting Board (24" x 18" × 1.5")! The first thing you notice is the quality of this John Boos Maple Cutting Board. It's so smooth, the wood grain is beautiful. It's also very heavy, which also speaks to why John Boos Large Cutting Boards are the gold standard. It's reversible, so one side can be a charcuterie board and the other side for carving a ham (love the juice grooves). I also appreciate the indented handles for moving it about. The John Boos Large Maple Wood Edge Grain Reversible Cutting Board is truly a game changer, highly recommended!

Solid, Excellent Quality Boos Cutting Board

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This John Boos maple wood cutting board is massive and I love it! The size is 24” x 18” x1.5” which makes is perfect for all of my cooking prep. Because it is reversible, I use one side to chop fruits and vegetables and the reverse side for cutting meats. 

The cutting board has grooves on each side that makes it easy to transport this hefty cutting board.

Because the John Boos cutting board's weight is substantial, there is no need to put wet paper towels under it to keep it from slipping as you use it. Nope. This board does not shift while cutting which is definitely a plus. 

Maintaining this board with John Boos  Mystery Butcher Block Oil should keep this block in perfect condition for years to come. In the meantime, I make sure to elevate the board after cleaning it to ensure air flows underneath to dry it. I use small metal seasoning tins as feet to elevate the cutting board. 

I used my John Boos cutting board as my charcuterie board on New Years Eve. It was beautiful.

Keep the board clean and oiled and it will last a very long time

Stylish accessory for your kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This really leaves up the cutting board game in my household, it's very nice and thick, doesn't really slide around at all while cutting and the drip edges are nice for clean up!! This cost is pretty high but sooo worth it. It is quite heavy so it's hard to move it to my sink to give it a proper cleaning but that's the only downside I can see

Sich a nice cutting board

Right out of the box, this board is stunning, and there is no question about the quality of the wood or product. This cutting board is sleek, well-made, and reversible. You can prep an entire meal on one side, or both, and have no fear of cross-contaminated food.

What I love the most is how John Boos brand takes time to inform their customers about the company mission,  proper board care, and the history of this company - none of which I knew well before reading the pamphlet that accompanied my board. 

I had to order the Mystery Oil immediately (it was ~$15 on Amazon) because I know that this board will last a LONG time if I take proper care of it. I can also see where I went wrong with my wooden cutting boards in the past.

This board is incredible quality. I can't wait to update pictures once it's properly seasoned & put to good use. I am absolutely in love with my new cutting board!

A must-have for any chef!

I  was in a rush and didn't read that it's 2 FEET long lol (pictures don't do it justice). It also feels like it weighs a ton but that just goes to show its high quality. My fiance cooks a lot, and while it won't be his every day cutting board due to the giant size, it will be awesome to have in the future. It's one of those items that we'd never buy ourselves, but we're very happy to own it. Here's my fiancé's review…Board is solid, good quality. Sized for a turkey or large roast with a good sized juice groove. Feels very sturdy and built to last. Recommend proper maintenance with oil and board cream.

Giant!! But great quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] John Boo's is a high-quality maple wood cutting board. It is excellent craftsmanship. It is solid and very durable. Recommend maintenance with oil. I would recommend this cutting board. However,  make sure you order the right size. I wasn't paying attention to the size when ordering. It's huge and heavy. It's a little too big for me as I can't even fit it in my sink to wash it.
