I've turned into a fire bug because of this Cordless Electric Fire Starter. 
The Sun Joe firestarter works excellent on burn piles, barbecue grills etc and it's lightening fast, no more waiting or pouring gas on the burn pile. Extremely happy!

Lightening Fast!

This is really helpful to have on hand because we can keep it charged and not have to worry about running out of gas. It heats up nicely. We were wondering what the loud noise and thought it was still on even after hitting the off switch, was but after reviewing the instructions, we realized that was the fan, and that it will still run after you turn it off. Overall really happy with this and would definitely recommend it.

Really handy to have for fire starting

It's quick to hear the coals and then the fan helps provide oxygen. It even has a bottle opener on the bottom of it!  It comes with a charger and battery.  Enjoying it so far and will look to use it for starting firewood this winter…

It's so much easier than using a lighter. It literally lit the cardboard in two seconds. The blower function works great as well. I use it to help relight the dying fire when I add more wood. As far as I can tell, the battery life seems very good. I would highly recommend this product!

Fantastic new product!

Once we actually opened the instructions it was exactly what we were looking for. It works great and we love the convenience of a rechargeable battery. Fire Starter Sucess

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it first arrived I thought it was a mini flame thrower! It's not, basically has a heating core at the end and a blower function. I'm impressed with how hot it actually gets. After I charged it up, I placed it next to a log, after a few seconds the log started smoking, then the fan automatically kicked on and flames were shooting from it, the amount of air that comes from the blower seems perfect to get the blaze going. So far so good, no real flaws that I've noticed so far

Awesome tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to try the SUNJOE cordless fire starter because I wanted to be able to fire up my charcoal briquets without liquid accelerant. So after my first try, I would say this tool works well. 
If your the type of person that likes to pour ounces of lighter fluid on your briquets and ignite all the briquets at one time, this may not be the tool for you. I need to say that you need to be a bit patient using this tool. This tool will start small areas of ignition in the charcoal but it does take a couple of minutes per area. So it took me about ten to twelve minutes to get enough areas of charcoal in my 24” diameter ceramic smoker lit so that I could walk away.

Good non-accelerant charcoal starter.

Tried using this 24V IONMAX fire starter a few times and it just doesn't do the job. It barely blows enough heat to light anything—charcoal, wood, nothing catches properly. Fully charged the battery, followed instructions, still no real flame or power.

Feels like a defective unit. Really frustrating, especially when you're counting on it for grilling. I need a replacement that actually works—this one's pretty much useless right out of the box.

Doesn't Work as Expected – Need a Replacement
