Spouse and I needed mats for indoor exercise on hardwood floors. These fit our needs well. Enough padding to make low impact movement more comfortable and slim enough to stow away easily. Has good non-skid qualities to stay in place on the floor and help you not slide on top of the mat while moving. Best for the mat if used barefoot or in socks. Foam material will rip or scuff on textured concrete or stiff shoes.

I got my mat today,  it is perfect.  no smell from it when i opened it,  i opened it as soon as i got it. the thickness is good and seems to be a durable material.  . the carrying strap. is a bonus i love its, just perfect,  the mat is perfect. its all perfect.  highly recommend it , and whats even better is it comes with a warranty, i mean how can you beat that?    (hint- even if not into yoga,  the mat will have endless uses as well,)  just do it, get it .
