This tote is sturdy and gives you the opportunity to secure the lid via two holes, one on each end. I used zip ties.  The only problem - and this is user decision error - it is not watertight, even zip-tied. I used the container on a trip. It was in an open trailer. It did fine on the first leg of the trip, but on the way back home, it rained, and everything in the container was soaked.  I should've known not to trust a hinged lid, but didn't have anything else. Not really the fault of the container. *I received this product as part of a My-Take research study*

Sturdy tote!

I have purchased 24 of these totes.  First to use in my classroom for storage of supplies, books, etc. Later for Christmas items, grandkid's Lego, Cars & Trains collections, and storage for merchandise, display items for my store.  I find these "tubs" to be durable, the right size for me to handle, I can always find the lid and they're perfectly stackable, to the point that I need more of the yellow topped ones (stuff that belongs to grandkids - the red topped ones are for my stuff).  The problem is that there seems to be a shortage of them.  I sure hope that is a temporary situation!

Never Lose Your Lid

I received this product over 2 weeks ago and once received I began to use it.  I have stored many tools and other such items in it and then use it to go back and forth to my vacation cabin.  I really like the product as it is very tough, durable, and the hinged lid really makes getting access to the items inside highly convenient.  I highly recommend it. This tote is absolutely top notch.  It is so strong and durable and can withstand a lot of rough and tough storage!  Easy to latch lid.  Strong lid that can keep your items safe from damage.  Works well for any location.  Amazing product, that is easy to stack as well!

The perfect storage tote!

I love this tote!  It is one of the strongest and most sturdy totes I have ever had the pleasure of using!  I used it to store Christmas things for next year, and everything fit inside perfectly!  I love that it has a secre, hinged lid that is easy to close and handles on the side for easy lifting.  Could't have asked for a better storage device! *I received this item for free

Amazingingly strong, versatile tote!

This Tote is wonderful for holding my power tools and attachments.  It fits nicely on my shelf in the garage were I can access it.  I like that I can store everything I need in one place for my projects.  The lid hinges make it easy to access what is inside.  It is heavy duty and holds items security. Best for keeping your tools in.

I ended up using it as the catch-all container in my truck to bring stuff back and forth.  I live in the boonies so having a spot for everything was nice.  However the lid warped and didn't want to close properly and the hinged could use some work, perhaps a better plastic.

Lid needs work

When I first received this I couldn't figure out how the interlocking lid meshed together. You definitely cannot overstuff it. It will pop open and stay open. But it's great for keeping certain items. I am using mine to store Thanksgiving/Fall decorations that were stored in a cardboard box that was sitting on top of a bedroom closet. Now I will put it in the bottom of said closet.

Interlocking Lid is Quite Unique

I ended up using tote to store my outdoor Christmas decorations. It's sturdy, easy to carry (due to both its size and comfortable hand grips), and the straight sides maximize useful volume.  I love the hinged lid, for the pieces fold out of the way for easy loading/unloading and I don't have to keep track of a separate item when I am working outside.  However, the left side of the lid piece does not sit flat on the rim of the tote (This is true for both lid pieces). There's only a ~1/4" gap, but it is large enough that the edge of the lid gets caught on things (if I hold the lid down, it does sit flat).
