This mat is extra thick, providing enough cushioning for my bad knees and elbow with bursitis. This is the only mat I've been able to do stretches on without any pain in my knees or elbows. And the price can't be beat. The only thing to look out for is when you roll the mat up tightly, it will start degrading the material slowly. Since I've been stretching at home due to the pandemic, I don't roll it up tightly to fit in the travel strap, but rather loosely and set it aside to maintain the material's integrity. If and when it does go, it's cheap and cushioned enough that I would just order another one.

I had an old 1/4" mat I got at Walmart about 2 years ago - and am replacing it with this 1/2" mat. This mat is so thick and comfortable! Wow, what a difference! It stays in place, is padded enough for comfort and  seems like it will last a long time.

Very thick and good quality

I love this mat! It gives plenty of cushion, but rolls up small enough to carrie around easily. Great for floor exercise if you have sensitive joints or back. It feels durable, and is backed by a 2 year warranty.

super thick

This mat has just thr right thickness to make exercising on it comfortable.  We use it on a hard floor and also like the fact that it stays put while you are using it. Very glad we bought this mat.

Just what we were looking for

This mat is thick and provides a good cushion for comfort. So far, I've done both HIIT and yoga workouts on it, and the mat seems durable enough for all kinds of workouts. Highly recommend!

Comfortable, thick mat

Great mat and carrying strap. I hvae uswd many mats and this one by far is superior to those. Easy to carry as it doesn't become unrolled. You dont need extra cushioning when using on hardwood floors.Love it!
