It's very sturdy. The latch works great and I don't expect it to fall apart. I use it in my classroom for filing. My volunteer who does the filing made a point of telling me how much she likes it over a similar one I was replacing. This one is sturdier and has a tray in the lid for small things like sticky notes and paper clips. I just wish it came in other colors, but I'm still very happy with my purchase.

I've purchased so many of these over the years, for work, for home and now for my dad who needed help organizing his estate planning. I love that this is portable so you can take all your necessary paperwork with you without worrying about losing important documents. It has a storage compartment on top that holds pens and paper clips and sticky notes, which makes it so convenient. It has a handle for portability that drops down when not in use. I have ones I've used for work for over a decade and they still seem brand new. Each of my kids got one from me when they went away to college. Seriously. These are terrific!

Such a great concept

This Stearlite File Box was perfect for working with monthly files and paperwork on a daily and weekly basis.  Makes it so much easier to keep organized before filing the 'keepers' into my large file cabinet.  The bonus tray inside the box kept all the tabs, paperclips and markers easily accessible.

The hard plastic container is the perfect size for filling paperwork in folders. It doesn't get too heavy, helping keep my important documents filed securely, and helps me stay organized! (Which is the reason I bought it. Very pleased with it!!

Quite happy with these!  Compared to similar ones, the price was best here and the quality is just fine especially for it's purpose.   Great size, compact but sturdy and even able to put a lock on it.

Just what we were looking for!

Love this thing  it's like having your own portable office. Living in a small condo I just take it out of my closet when needed. All your pens paper clip's etc can be stored on top. Great product great price I highly recommend it.

This box is very sturdy. I bought it to hold manuals for our equipment, Tractor, lawn mower, rototiller, pool, and so on.  My files were bursting with all of those manuals.  I needed them all in one easy to find place. This could be a good craft box as well.

i already had 1 but needed another to reduce paper and the bigger file cabinet has become harder to move if something fell behind . these are lightweight stackable and i like the compartments on the top holds more then you think and keeps pens, paperclips and scissors easy to find.

They weren't thinking when they made the top for pencils or whatever. as soon as you open it that lid pops open and whatever's in there will dump on the floor.

The order was delivered. I purchased one in the past in the store. Apparently, no one checked the latch on this one; it was 3/4 torn. Rather than get another one, I duck-taped the latch.
