This little file box is great.  I didn't need a full-sized file cabinet, just something to hold my household stuff in.  It has been great, although, I may need another one or something a little bigger, but I'm hoping not.  I'm still going through things to get better organized, but I would highly recommend this product.  If anything changes, I will do my best to update my review.

This Stearlite File Box was perfect for working with monthly files and paperwork on a daily and weekly basis.  Makes it so much easier to keep organized before filing the 'keepers' into my large file cabinet.  The bonus tray inside the box kept all the tabs, paperclips and markers easily accessible.

Quite happy with these!  Compared to similar ones, the price was best here and the quality is just fine especially for it's purpose.   Great size, compact but sturdy and even able to put a lock on it.

Just what we were looking for!

Love this thing  it's like having your own portable office. Living in a small condo I just take it out of my closet when needed. All your pens paper clip's etc can be stored on top. Great product great price I highly recommend it.

This box is very sturdy. I bought it to hold manuals for our equipment, Tractor, lawn mower, rototiller, pool, and so on.  My files were bursting with all of those manuals.  I needed them all in one easy to find place. This could be a good craft box as well.

i already had 1 but needed another to reduce paper and the bigger file cabinet has become harder to move if something fell behind . these are lightweight stackable and i like the compartments on the top holds more then you think and keeps pens, paperclips and scissors easy to find.

I bought  2 of these and 25 hanging folders , I use them to put my bills in each month so they are ready for the tax man at the end of the season. He thinks they work great and so do I.

They weren't thinking when they made the top for pencils or whatever. as soon as you open it that lid pops open and whatever's in there will dump on the floor.

The order was delivered. I purchased one in the past in the store. Apparently, no one checked the latch on this one; it was 3/4 torn. Rather than get another one, I duck-taped the latch.

Damaged latch

Look carefully at the hinge "mechanism" vs. others, all of which are about double the price or more.   This is a very cheap cap with a couple of pinch extrusions (about the thickness of pencil leads) which hold the cap in place and provide the hinge "action".  When (not if) either of the pinch extrusions fail, the cap will fall out and no longer will the top stay in place.  Look for a more durable hinge mechanism,  like the IRIS containers (although you may not be able to see them in online listings).  Pictures show the hinge mechanism from a durable storage box
