Price

I frequently hunt alone and getting a deer in the back of the truck is a constant challenge. I've tried rolling it up ramps on a dolly, picking it up by myself, backing the truck up into a ditch and anything else you can imagine. With this product, I can hoist the deer, gut it and then just lower it down onto the tailgate and slide it up in the truck. I can even butcher it while it hangs from the truck and put the meat straight into the ice chest. This is truly the coolest hunting product on the market. The only thing that could make it better was if it had a pin you could pull to allow the hoist to pivot 180 degrees so you could set the deer directly into the back of the truck.

what a helper

The 300lb Deer Hoist arrived as advertised, Gambrel, Hand Winch and 2" Receiver Hitch with Tree. All the bolts are supplied. A Hitch Pin is not included. The Tubing is light in wall thickness but, I believe will hold the advertised capacity. This should suffice for Antelope, Deer and Bighorn Sheep. I would not even attempt to use this product for an Elk.

Deer Hoist

I ordered this product and in less than a week I was using it. I hunt deer and hogs in Florida, with hog hunting year around. The first weekend I had this product I shot 2 large hogs. I was able to hoist them and clean them out quickly and cleanly without having to go far from where I hunted. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who hunts alone.

Great deal

A lot of times I hunt alone, and I'm not as young or as big as I was. I've loaded big deer into a truck, and it was frustrating and tiring. Getting a 100 to 150 pounds of dead, floppy deer into the bed of the truck is not the easiest chore. I've been looking for one of these and even considered trying to build one. By the time you chase down the material, pay retail prices for each part, and go thru the aggravation of piecing it together, it's gonna cost more than this. Far as I'm concerned, this is a great product, a great price and a great way to save my poor old back. Thank you, Discount Ramps!

A fantastic product to help hunters

Arrived quickly and went together easily. Have yet to use with a deer, but appears it will work well for two men in their 70s who don't have strength they once did. Lifts high enough that swinging deer into truck. Top does not swivel but at one pushes deer the other can lower it into truck. Hope to fully test this fall starting in September as we both crossbow and firearm hunt.
