Our son absolutely loves this bike he liked putting it all together and he really enjoys riding it along with his friend who is the inspiration to get one for himself. He is able to get around locally to visit friends and family along with just joy riding either on the road or through the surrounding woods.

Installation wasn't bad, I did fight keeping the brake pads from dragging on the front brake disc.  Wasn't able to get no drag, but able to get it close.   It's gotten heavy use in the first month with no issues yet   Very happy with my purchase so far.

This is a great bike, except that the speed and the gear indicator is too dark hard to see in daylight. Everything else is super, Is there an I adjustment so you can see the speed indicator in Broad daylight? Also, how could I get you to mail me an online receipt for payment of the bike?

My niece love it, has had it since march-recently wrecked the derailleur. I purchase Allstate protection plan- (it's a hassle). took the bike to the local bike shop instead. I purchased another for my nephew last night and Will arrive next week. After reading all this negative reviews will see!

Great for everyone

We researched a lot of electric bikes before deciding on one. I am so glad we chose this one! It is high-quality, well-made, goes a little faster than some bikes we  looked at, while  still having great safety features . It's also priced well which my wallet appreciates. Very happy with this purchase and my teenage son loves his bike!

Great e-bike

We purchased a similar yet more expensive e-bike through Amazon and needless to say, this Ridstar e-bike is far superior and much more affordable! We are extremely pleased with all aspects of this bike. Easy assembly, Rides smoothly and is very sturdy. Highly recommend,  don't even bother with the other evikes in this category!

I love it. A very good product for the price. I am impressed how it accerates and how it brakes. I will be riding this back and forth to work to save wear and tear on my primary vehicles. It will save me money in the long run.

my son got this bike for christmas 2025, and he absolutely LOVES it!! I will note its worth mentioning, we live on 3rd story apartment building, and my 14 year old son is able to get it down the steps himself, but needs his father to carry it back up the steps! it is VERY HEAVY!! the delivery driver of this bike was WONDERFUL! he carried it up the steps with me day of drlivery so my son wouldnt see it! 
great gift! huge hit! my son loves roding it, it charfes fast, lasts long time once fully charged, and performs EXACTLY loke it says 8t will! headlight works great, easy assembly! goes up to 30mph!

14 YEAR OLD SON ♥️ RIDSTAR BIKE!!!

Great bike I bought this bike to get to school and overall just ride it for fun it goes 30 with me on it I'm about 150 lbs and 31 with no weight on it but my only complaint is that the charger came faulty so I could only ride it until it died and then I haven't figured out what to do I might just have to get a replacement or buy a whole new charger it's a great bike I got 15 miles out of it

Great bike charger doesn't work

on flat level ground, the battery gets approximately 27 miles on a completely charged battery. the top speed on the speedometer says 31.3, but when I use a GPS app the top speed is 26 mph.
I originally got it just for transportation to the pharmacy and back so I didn't have to ask somebody for a ride every other day, but I found it so fun that I am now writing it for exercise as well
I am disabled with three artificial discs in my lower back and the ride is comfortable enough for me to take an hour ride. the seat though is lacking in a little padding. your bum will be hurting LOL
assembly was easy, it actually feels better in the grass than on the road somehow.
it's got enough to work to carry my 230 lb body up a hill in West virginia, so that should tell you something

great value for a short range bike!

It's been 2 weeks since my grandson got his bike.  He had a BLOW OUT ALREADY!  That's unacceptable! How can this happen a blow out, not a flat, a BLOW OUT. Tire shred to pieces???? Now we are looking for new tires, additional cost of $200.
