I bought this for a different purpose on my car, but it definitely improved the surface to sqeeky clean. Keep in mind a final coat of wax is recommended because this product removes the wax.

This stuff is like magic back in the old days.I used a product called

 colorback

It was a gray liquid, you pour it on it gets hazy, it gets dry and you literally had to have a complete workout just to do your hood, because you let it dry to a haze and then you had to use a dry cloth to literally rub so hard to get it back off.  it did a good job

But this stuff is like, pour it on, wipe it off and you've got a mirror showroom brand new car finish

BEST Product 4UR CAR

I am using this with an MVP 10 in. buffer and a "wool" pad to get out REALLY BAD water spots.  Not the kind where people say "it's hard to see in this light." Mine are BIG WHITE WHITE spots on a red car, like a leopard. It's taken some time, but not unreasonable.  I have a bad back and no stamina.  I finally got (almost) all the spots off my hood after working an hour or two a day for 2 days. (but i tried spot remover first, then had to clay bar it, too)  It's the truth that you don't NEED to use a polish after this, my hood is shiny and nice. Then I washed and used spray wax. Now I gotta do the roof and entire passenger side.  I used on my car that sat outside next to a sprinkler, not a show car. Watched youtube videos first.

Unbelievable results. Tried all the home remedy stuff. Nothing would even phase the water spots on my car. I thought the paint was ruined. This stuff was awesome. You have to really put a lot a pressure on the surface and may have to go over it a couple times.

Really Works. NO JOKE

I used this with a Harbor Freight Dual Action 6" polisher & pads (Lake Country 5.5 backing plate). With the orange cutting pad it has completely restored amazing shine & luster to my 15 year old oxidized Earl Scheib 1-stage enamel paint job. The only thing that could make this product better was if it could magically remove dents too. lol

Excellent Product from Meguiars

I had a small, shallow scratch. Maguires Ultimate Compound did just okay. I expected it would better hide the scratch. I followed all the directions faithfully. Still, it does have a positive effect, so I can recommend it.

For me, this product is totally worthless. I used some of it on my 2014 F-150 King Ranch for oxidation, and it made it look worse to me. I even did two applications.
I am requesting a refund.
