[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a SunJoe years ago and the handle broke and I just never replaced it. I ended up buying a Walmart lawn mower which took me hours to cut the yard because the batteries wouldn't stay charged. However I thought it was doing a good job for the most part until 2 weeks ago it gave out on me and just wouldn't hold a charge at all. So I bought another son Joe and was instantly reminded why I love this lawn mower. people talk about the size but it can handle a lot and it gets the job done really quickly so I'm able to cut my front and backyard within an hour versus a whole day. It also cuts the grass in a way where I don't have to rake anything and I'm cutting tall grass with it just on the middle setting so it gets it really low but still leaves it beautiful and healthy I'm glad I'm back to this one!

Best lawnmower ever

walmart.com

super impressed with this little guy we call ours Kermit my yard was thick and wet it cut flawlessly I couldn't be happier with this purchase it is a must buy and I have a pretty decent size backyard and I have a normal size front yard but it cut flawlessly you will not be disappointed I definitely recommended

this thing is a beast

What a powerful little guy this Lawnmower is. The mower moves smoothly and cuts close and gets in tight space very easy. This lil guy is light weight and cute, Cut my front yard and backyard with ease and front yard is a nice size but it cuts the yard so evenly. I couldn't believe the power it has. The bag that attaches to the back is nice too , catches the grass with ease and easy quick assembly. The bag fills up quickly though so I just removed the bag so I wouldn't have to keep stopping and empting the bag like every few minutes. The grass goes out the back. I am pleased with this purchase . Great Product ,Great purchase and Great Price.

Little But Powerful!

Cut the grass and weeds really well. Pretty easy to assemble. However to change height is not an easy process. Have to turn machine over and risk pinched fingers to switch levels. Other than that, easy to start and move. Weeds/grass was 6-8 inches tall, this came set on the middle level and it cuts very close to the ground. About 2 inches left of grass. I'd recommend the highest setting.

Powerful little mower

I needed a lawnmower for a decent price and something I could handle and Sun Joe didn't disappoint. I cut my front side and backyard with no problems. I recommend this mower for women.

Beginner

It cuts great better then I thought it would.it's great for small yards like how it comes with a bag as well I would buy again easy to put togeter and it don't take much room to put away

Great mower

This mower is a little powerhouse. It is as easy to use as a vacuum cleaner and can be operated with one hand! It was able to easily go through the grass. The bag is small (just like the mower), so you do need to be aware of emptying it regularly.

Small, but mighty!

I love everything about my lawn walk. It's light weight, easy to move also use. My teenager is even mow the lawn sometimes from me.

The best lawnmower ever!!

So this is a re-purchase for me. I owned this product for about 3 years and it worked well. The cord can be tricky but you learn to adapt so it doesn't pull out or get eaten by the mower ( both happened ). However, my mower was definitely not new. It had superficial scratches and dents/dings - see attached photos. It was definitely used. That's my only complaint.

Cheap but effective mower

This product is very easy to use and effective. The plastic housing is soft, it sounds like it makes contact with the blade when the front is bumped to something. It tips backward when the grass catcher fills up. I'm amazed at this product despite of how it was shipped, not a good impression for the company. Here are some photos for you to look at.

It works.

snowjoe.com

The idea is there, but you need to know what you're getting...

-The blade width is very narrow (so it takes twice as long to mow)
-The electric charge lasts MAYBE the front yard and half the back, so several times I was waiting 4 hours for it to charge to finish the job
-Cheaply made of plastic and had one of the plastic side knobs (circled below) split in half within the first month so the mower was held together with duct tape after that

Great for small, flat, low maintenance spaces but really didn't work for me and I was left disappointed I didn't spend $50-$100 for something a little tougher

Total Headache for Medium Sized Yards

Sun Joe MJ401E Electric Lawn Mower, 14 inch, 12 Amp, front-facing view of compact corded mower with 14-inch steel cutting deck, 12-amp motor, manual three-position height control and hard-top detachable rear grass bag on a short lawn; suitable for small yards and tight edging.
