Pretty Window

Very attractive valance that enhances my kitchen window.

Light filtering Blinds

These are a sheer light filtering valance. The scallop is not as smooth getting the look as what is pictured. I noticed a few valances had pin holes in them, one had a nasty snag, which I was able to pull through to the back side. Mine had all the straps required. I did iron them with a cool iron. I think that helped with the way they hung. It you need more than one valance on a window, the more you have the more scallop you will have, as well as seams. The more you have, the more straps you will see as well. The print on these valances is light. I would have like to see it a deeper color to it, since the light does filter through and reflect an even lighter color to the valance. I can see if someone were to use a stick or straight type rod to hang these, one would have a tougher time getting these valances to have the swag to them. I used a rod that curves in the corner, with the main face is a thins, straight rod. The rod they show in the first picture to me seems deceiving. Click farther on and see the final photo, which shows you how they would hang, minus the even scallop to get a better view of how they really hang. For my use right now, these valances will do. I don't see them lasting past a few years. So if you are looking for permanent valance, these are not the valance for you. For me, I won't feel too bad changing to something I will want more permanent once I really know what I want to dress my windows. I won't feel bad replacing them and feel like I invested a lot of money in them, the feeling of throwing money away. Mine are hung with wood blinds under them. These are made of lightweight linen, so the sunlight will come through. It is NOT a valance that provides any type of blocking or darkening. Plan on putting a low heat iron to these when you receive them. Otherwise they will not hang nice. This product was shipped fast and I received them in two days. Each valance was packaged separately, in a easy open packaging. You will wonder how they got something of this size into such a small package. I lucked out with the snag being in the place the strap goes over it. Had that not happened I would have needed to return it for a replacement. My few pin holes were in the rod area and it is not noticeable. My overall view of this product is, they are on the cheaper side of quality of material. They are very lightweight. They don't hang exactly as pictured, but close if you know how to hang drapery or curtains. You need to use the rod shown second, not the first one pictured to obtain more the look. You get something that is not a long lasting window valance, due to the light print in the the valance. I feel in time the sun will fade some of the print away. It is fine for a person wanting something for a short time use, but not something that I see lasting past five years for sure. I could see the print fading fast, maybe even after a year's use. Time will tell how long it will be before I replace them. :)

Limited Time Valance

So disappointing. The fabric was thin, had snags and there were visible holes. I do not recommend these curtains. The quality just isn't there!

Thin fabric, poor quality and damaged

Definitely not what's described! Color is hideous! Was gonna use them for my plant room. Ended up in the garbage. Too ugly and useless to return.
