Ar first when I ordered  I thought  being it was less expensive than some of the other choices, but I was pleasantly surprised!  My dog was terrified of having her nails done, but this was a relief giving her a positive experience.  The unit is whisper quiet ,the unique light and various speeds are wonderful.   Could not be happier with my purchase!  And now "clip time" is no longer stressful for both of us!!

I bought this for my son to use on our dogs since he is the one who trims their paws. He loves this better than any trimmer he's used in the past except for the way the nail dust pile that it leaves. But maybe he's never used a trimmer that is this effective. The dogs nails are so much smoother when he's finished and the dogs aren't so intimidated by the noise. Very happy.

I have a Shephard Mastiff, and her nails grow very quickly. Traditional clippers bother her, I have limited hand strength and have to go slowly, so I thought I would try this grinder. She sits perfectly still during all front nails on day one and all back on day two. I've used it several times and it works well. 
It is very quiet, lightweight, and stays charged during use (it doesn't drip off or get slower like a drill, for example). I charge it between uses only until it's green again, then unplug it until the next time. The battery holds the charge well.
I will keep using it and recommend it to anyone whose pets don't like clipping.

Worth it! Works great.

The best thing that ever happened for dogs.  It still takes 2 people (one to hold, one to sand the nails) but it is so much faster than anything I've used.  And I am not terrified of cutting too deep as in the past with other tools.

I like this tool. I have one dog that has black nails and I cannot see the quick on her nails
I use this to prevent me from cutting too short. Just make sure you do a little st a time because the nail will heat up if you stay too long in one place.

I wish I bought this a long time ago. She doesn't even flinch, well mostly doesn't, when I file her nails. The different speeds allows me to work quickly to take a little bit of at a time and she knows this is better than clippers or the other one speed files

Wish I bought this years ago

This pet nail grinder arrived today. It is absolutely amazing. and is exactly the product that I needed to be able to deal with my very skittish Labrador's aversion to having her feet touched or her very hard nails cut.
She is so difficult that my vet actually refuses to deal with her any longer, which meant that her nail maintenance had to be done exclusively by me.

I have purchased product, after product, after product to no avail. None of them worked as well as this unit. It is fast. It is quiet and it is extremely effective because it has a metal grinder head.

I have to say I am so impressed by this product:  the moment it came, I took my dog to a quiet place, muzzled her, and began on one foot. We finished one entire foot.
I now know that I will be able to deal with her nail maintenance because of this product.
This will be the week her nails are finally done!

The unit has a built-in light so that you avoid cutting into the quick of your pet's nail;  it comes with a cleaning brush, an extra grinder head, instructions, and a charging cord.

I am honestly so delighted that I purchased this product. Thank you so much LAKWAR  for making such an excellent product; I am very very pleased.

THIS IS THE NAIL GRINDER WE NEEDED

My dog is a 10lb Chiweenie. She hates her nails being trimmed %26 they are all black so it is harder to tell where the quick is. I used this trimmer 3 days in a row on her nails %26 by the 3rd day she was much calmer. Her nails are what they should be. This is very good.

The timers work great and is very quiet. Unfortunately my dog does not like to have her nails trimmed. It is a very big ordeal to trim her nails. The trimmers work great except my dog doesn't like anyone touching her feet. I was able to do 1  paw and the trimmers worked great. It such a hassle to do her nails I will get the vet to do her nails.

This is a pretty good grinder and it's noise level is great. However, it didn't come with instructions and that's very irritating because I had to spend 30 minutes trying to understand why it wasn't grinding their nails down only to discover you have to take the black piece off at the grinding stone. I'm seeing that more and more in purchases and it's time consuming trying to figure it out on your own.

While it was very quiet, it still made a buzzing sound and my dogs wouldn't let me get near them with it.
