I needed a small desk for my kids' computer for the family room (they are not allowed to have computers or TVs in their rooms). I didn't have much space and wanted to match the rest of the furniture in the room which is dark oak color too. This desk is slightly darker but it is close enough. I just love how it looks. I highly recommend it for a common area because when not in use, the keyboard hides away and makes it all look clutter free. Be warned though, the tray is only wide enough to hold the keyboard. It will NOT hold the mouse at the same time (unless you have a very small keyboard). For me this was a not a big deal because we have a wireless mouse and it just sits on top of the table. I would have liked the tray to hold both but I was also looking for a very narrow desk
so the small sacrifice is worth it to me.

I must have put together dozens of pieces of furniture in my lifetime. This one was no problem. I took my time to do everything right and it took me about an hour to put it all together. I was impressed with the fact that they included glue. I always use wood glue to put stuff together but furniture hardly ever comes with it.

This desk is exactly what I needed! It is functional and good-looking! Be aware that the size is a little small, but that was what I needed. If you want a big desk, this is not it. I love how the keyboard slides away and you are left with a pretty desk that doesn't take up a lot of room! Easy to put together; did it in under an hour by myself. And very sturdy. Great buy!

Perfect!

The finish is nice and glossy, and the piece is more substantial than I was afraid it might be.  I enjoyed putting it together, and think it will be just right for the spot and purpose for which I bought it.  I'm very happy with this purchase, and am glad to have found such a great piece.

Better than expected!

Needed a small table in my kitchen for laptop & Nook...this works perfectly. Laptop too big for pull-out drawer, but use that to "hid" my paperwork, pens, etc.

Looks very nice!

This was easy to put together and all that I expected and needed as I have very little room. I only marked good for durability as I have only had it for 3 weeks however it is a sturdy piece of furniture when assemble correctly. As for value I also mark good as I believe this should be a little lower in price, however if it lasts more than 6 or 7 years I'll consider it well worth it!

perfect fit for small space!

It was easy to build with simple instructions and tools, such as beautiful silver screws, wooden dowels, a bit of glue to ensure the dowels stick.  This was my very first 'carpentry' job and I had fun putting it together.  I am an average person with an average sized body who likes the fit here.  I sit and have enough space for my body to move side to side.  My thighs almost touch the top part of the desk, so it might be a problem if you are big in thighs!  Otherwise, it is great as the keyboard moves up to you choice position.  The monitor is at the right eye level and there is enough room for your pencil case and paper pad notebook.

Beautiful desk in color, size and simplicity.

Very easy to put together. Makes for a very nice place to set up a All-In-One PC, MAC or Laptop in a small area of a room. Look at the dimensions before purchase. It was just the right application for my purpose but it is small. I went out and bought casters for it so it could be rolled easily from one location to the next or just out of the way. Raised it up two inches and made it even more workable. With caster it is 32.75 inches tall. Good value for the money.

Small Desk Designed Well

Great table for use in closet as makeup table. Only complaint is a strong petroleum smell which took a week or so to dissipate

Nice

I am pleased with this little wood desk.  It fits into the space just right.  The keyboard drop down, pull out is just perfect for my password file and my keyboard, it even leaves a small space for writing notes.
I wish it had a little bar or step for my feet.  I miss that from my former desk.  I am short, and need a  resting place for my feet, which don't reach the floor.  
I also wish it had a shelf like a "hutch" for some other items that I don't need all the time, on the desk top.  
I believe it is a good buy for the money I spent; and it came quickly.

24 inch wide desk

This is not worth your money. You are better off going to HomeGoods or TJ  or even a local Goodwill or Habitat ReStore to purchase a solid wood desk. 

The drawer to the desk stripped and fell out after having it for fewer than 90 days. I do not recommend buying it.
