I purchased these headphones for my son and he loves them. So easy to use. And he loves that you can actually screw the whole mic off and on the headset. Sometimes he doesn't need the mic part and can take it right off. That was a plus. The sound quality is excellent and everyone he plays with can hear him crystal clear. Id recommend this

Very nice! Very pleased!

walmart.com

When this item is ordered online, you get a few more little perks with it. I bought the same one first in the store and it wasn't as nice as the online ordered one. It works nice for the price I paid.

I love these headphones, I especially love that they are green and black, I like to call them my Minecraft headphones. (I love the game Minecraft) it has great audio quality and the mic is awesome! I highly recommend, even though the price feels like it should be about like $20. when I am listening to music the bass is decent. it is awesome for gamers like me. it's comfort is great and sometimes I can easily become immersed with it's ease of use.

Perfect Headphones for me!

My son ordered this Turtle Beach Headset with mic for his XBox. He likes this brand very much and has been loyal to it for years. He did not realize the mic is detachable. He says it becomes loose after prolonged use. He would have preferred to opt for an attached mic for item longevity. They're working fine right now though.

Turtle Beach is his preferred brand…

ive had like 4 pairs of these over the past 10 years and they work great, good basic easy to use headphones that work on a variety of devices. i use my current pair for my steamdeck and phone and havent had any issues that are solely the headphones fault; mainly my own fault lol

if anyone else reading this is a steamdeck user i would like to give a fair warning that due to the Steamdecks microphone not having a way to turn off; the microphone mute slider wont work since it will continue to pick up audio from the deck's mic itself.

turtle beach headphones: More than Good Enough

The Turtle Beach Recon 50 headset is decent for the price, but it has a few drawbacks. The sound quality is good enough for casual gaming, and voices come through clearly during multiplayer matches. The microphone works reasonably well and is easy to adjust or remove when not needed.

However, the headset isn't the most comfortable for long gaming sessions. After a couple of hours, the ear cups can start to feel uncomfortable, and the headband puts a bit of pressure on your head. The build quality also feels somewhat cheap, with a lot of plastic that doesn't seem very durable.

Overall, it gets the job done and is a budget-friendly option for Xbox gamers, but don't expect premium sound or comfort. It's okay for occasional gaming, but serious gamers may want to invest in something a little better.

They are ok!!

Wires and mic break very easily. This is the second set I've purchased and I was sooo careful, but it still broke within 3 months of purchase.

Breaks easily

heck no way I had to return these I am a girl and these are definitely not women friendly . stay away I went to target and got the red and blue switch ones which work way better for my head as a headpiece

don't waste your moola

Mic does not work at all. Audio on max volume is so quiet it's not even real. It's so low I didn't think audio was even coming through. The tv on volume 10 could be heard louder than wearing the headset with audio on max.

Doesn't work

I never purchase cheap however a friend recommended this to me as his has lasted for over a year. However, in my case, they didn't last for more than 30 mins. Cheap works when all conditions are ideal, however, when one thing goes wrong, cheap shows its true colors. I will never purchase cheap again.

Learned lesson.
