My dogs didn't like the taste of another more expensive brand, but they love this and the size of the pieces is good for my medium to small dogs.  I think they've gained a little bit of weight with it, so I'm going to keep an eye on that.  I went from a very effective weight loss food which cost $130 for a 25 lb bag, which they ate ok, to a different brand which is about $50 for a 30 lb bag, which the dogs did NOT eat, to this one.  It's a great compromise!

For my 10/yr Old Pitt mix,this seems to keep her weight down and has good probiotics as her poops are regular not hard. I sometimes add a tiny bit of sweet potatoes as a treat mid day and this and this brand for adult dogs weight control, is the best I've found for my dog as a good price too. ,

the ingredients looks and smells really good. my dog dug right i to it. i was mixing different things in with their old dog food to get them to eat. and that lead to unhealthy weight gain.  with this food, i stir in hot water to make a gravy and that's it. they love it.

Will my oldest fur baby at six years was getting slightly chubby. She is really a tummy on legs, so I switched her over from the regular lamb and rice by Iams. thinking she would not be as excited about it. But she loves it, I think they must've made it extra tasty to account for the 17% less fat. She's been on it about a week and 1/2 and although I haven't weighed her, she looks a little slimmer it's good that it's a slow process, no stressing for her.

Ok so started feeding my dog this food a year ago was good for him but I think they have changed something in it last month he has a little loose stool know but the price is ok $40 to $60 amonth

My 6 Year old Old English Bulldog love's it, and eats it straight from the bag!!! Helps her weight on target, while maintaining Great Health!!! Thanks and Keep Up The Great Work!

My dog is particular about foods and i noticed hes getting very thin. Since using this brand he eats all of the food now. I was so worried lol. Definitely try this brand if your dog needs to gain weight and make sure you put a topper in it as well like chicken broth for dogs.

I was happy to find something affordable because Science hill is way too high for our budget at this time but unfortunately my dog will not eat it and he is like Mikey and will eat anything but this dog food. I give it a 4 stars though because my friend's dog absolutely loves it and she will be making future purchases from now on.  He has already lost some weight and she feels like his energy level is much better.

So far it seems to be good product. Too soon to tell if it will take the extra pounds off my Vana. But she does like the taste. Other low calorie ones I tried she would not eat.

IMS's healthy weight

I have a 5 yr. old husky. She is a little overweight.  Huskies are hard to put on a diet. As they can speed up and slow down thier metabolism. So I got this to help her loose some weight.  Her front legs look horrible since she has been eating this. She has chewed and licked them so much she has raw spots. Come to find out it is an alergy caused bt the food. She has had chicken before and this has never happened. Iams is suppose to be one of the top brands. But it may not be good foe your dog.
