I have a three year-old autistic daughter and a one year little girl. And when I say this house gets hours of play, I truly mean it both girls enjoy it together and separately my three-year-old who is autistic will take her favorite stuffed animals inside and blanket. She will lay down and watch her iPad. My one year-old loves to play with the windows playing peekaboo. Also she loves the doorbell. I definitely would buy it again.

My toddler loves this house. The working doorbell, easy open/close door, cute little grill and inside seat are some of his favorite features! The house was fairly easy to assemble and it has been worth every dollar spent so far. Gender neutral colors makes it great for both boys and girls to enjoy.

Purchased for our 3, almost 4 year old for Christmas. She was ecstatic and loves it. My husband was not excited to put it together, but once he started the assembly he said it was very easy and he did put it together much faster than I expected. Our child is tall and rambunctious, this is holding up to her shenanigans. She has tried to climb out the front onto the roof already and it has held sturdy. Even when she is gripped onto it when trying to pull her down, it doesn't move.  So the quality is great and does withstand a toddlersaurous rex. The only thing I want to mention for the parents is the box it comes in is huge! If you have limited space to hide gifts, pre plan you're creative hiding skills. That was literally the only con we had with this thing, was the box. 10/10, I'd highly recommend this. If you're on the fence about it, get it. You will not regret it.

This is a darling playhouse.  The doorbell is a sweet feature as well as windows on both sides allowing interaction with other children.  It can accommodate 2 children under 5.  If child 5 or soon going to be 5 you want to go with something larger.  I bought this because it has a floor.  As it is for outdoor play (at our house), did not want it sitting directly on the ground with no flooring and many do not have a floor.  Only negative is it has only one inside built in seat.  Would be better to have 2 seats as the 3 yr old and 1 1/2 yr old both always wanted to sit in the seat.  Remedied this by putting a very small stool inside on the side with no seat.  Great value and friends who have seen it w/similar age children purchased after seeing ours.

Floor - love it has a floor and good value

My 2 year absolutely LOVES this! We put it up in her room to enjoy this winter, then will take it outside when it gets nice. 
She loves going in and out of the door, taking "orders" at the window, sitting at the table, and putting toys in the various storage areas. I really think that this is the best design of these sort of playhouses! 
My husband put it together and said the main difficulty was that he is left handed and it seemed to be tailored to people assembling with their right hand.
I also wish that it wasn't so expensive, but at least it seems sturdy and is very loved!

We love this for playhouse. My 2 year old has a blast playing with it and loves collecting items in the yard to put into the little sink area. My only complaint is that the floor doesn't expose the ground so it gets dirty and is hard to clean out. We sweep the floor every now and then but it doesn't keep grass and leaves from getting in there for too long.

Great little playhouse

My grandson is 16 months old and absolutely LOVES it!  He loves every part of it - the windows and shutters, the door, the doorbell, the mail slot, the built in table and bench and the phone!  It is the only one I found in this price range that had a floor and it's nice that it does.  It's sturdy and made well and he wants to play in it all the time. It's worth every penny.

Smaller than anticipated. Definitely for one or two kids 3 and under. I purchased for my newly turned 4 year old and it seems like he'll out grow it in less than 6 months. T The seat on one side on the inside is nice. The seat and the "table" on the inside take a bit of space inside. Assembly wise, the holes are not pre drilled, instructions are clear. Water does get inside when it rains but it's light enough to be able to tip over to drain. The doorbell and playphone are a loved feature.

Best for one or two 1-3 year olds

I firmly believe in Step2 products. They really are made to last. They materials are not cheaply made and very easy for children to use. The assembly process didn't take long at all. My granddaughter absolutely loved it.
The only issue was that it wasn't as big as it was in the pictures online. The children playing in the pictures looked to be a lot bigger than the playhouse was meant to accommodate.

This is very small, says the age range is for 2-8 years. My 4 year old grandson has to duck down to play in it. On the first windy day it blew over and rolled. Too lightweight to be outside.  If I had of seen it on a store display, I would have never purchased it.

Not a good value for the price.
