They definitely smoothe out the tummy for use under dress clothes, etc. they are pretty long for me, but I am a shorter woman. I have worn other shapewear and the fit is similar.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These midrise shape wear shorts are snug but not too tight. I really like the smooth, breathable material. They are the perfect height for my long torso (5'6, 125lb). I have been looking for a pair of underwear to wear with my royal blue jumpsuit that wouldn't show a visible underwear line but were still comfortable. These are perfect. They don't ride up and they are pretty much invisible under my jumpsuit. Very pleased. Only downside is that I would have preferred black over the nude color.

Do a decent job “smoothing,” but that's never really my aim personally. Just like to have something to wear under skirts and things, and these do a great job in that regard!

Great no-roll undershort!

The tummy control worked wonders without any annoying discomfort. Plus, the length was just right for a comfy and flattering feel. It's my new go-to!

Problem Areas No More!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first tried it in they were a little tight but after having it on for a couple hours it felt much better after i washed and hung to dry they felt better the second time wearing them and I would recommend if you think you may want a pair

These work great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this slimming short not really sure what to expect as I've never tried a slimming anything in the Jockey brand. I was not disappointed! It does smooth and gently compress at the same time. I sized up as I don't like the feeling of tight compression. I think my regular size would have worked just fine though.

Slimming and soft

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Women's Tummy Smoothing Mid-Waist Mid-Thigh Short, Size: 3XL, Color: Light definitely smoothed out some fat curls.  I am not sure where I could use it as most mens clothing would not allow the use.  Maybe it could work with overalls.  In general not something for me.

Tummy Smoothing Short Not Very Suitable for Men

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not my favorite smoothing garment. It did smooth me out, and made feel pulled together, but I felt the garment was very tight around my thighs. This caused an imprint under my clothes, so it was no longer seamless.

I had high hopes to have an economical sharewear that actually stayed in place. This is not that. The bottom of the shorts rolled up and the tummy panel rolled down. Big disappointment.
