Don't hesitate on this one! It's worth every penny! I was hesitant because of the mixed reviews but I am so glad I bought it! I have been finding some gems at Walmart lately and they have been affordable in this economy!

Surprisingly good quality for what you think you are going to get. Very rugged and sturdy. Did not come with any assembly instructions but each piece can only go in one place so it is just trial and error to put it together. Still only took about 45 minutes to assemble. Fireplace is easy to use and looks great. Very happy with this purchase.

I love it.. best thing i have bought for myself in a long time and the price was perfect … i am a widow and it was nice to get  a great priced item and be sooo great…

I bought this TV stand for my sister for her Christmas gift.  She is in love with it!  I used the handyman service you can purchase to put it together.  She said he was a pleasure to work with and would recommend the handyman services. She also said he was also impressed with the stand too.  
All that she has shown in person or in pictures, love the TV stand as well and all have asked where she bought it.

I love it! Looks better in person! It makes my living room look like it popped right out of a magazine! Everyone talks about it when they come over! It took my husband about 2 hours to put it together, at some points of construction u need a helping hand! This was a great addition to our new home!

I love love love LOVE my fireplace tv stand!!! Very sturdy and beautiful! I get so many compliments. Looks just like the picture. Box came by Fed Ex with no damage. I paid for Handy to assemble through Walmart, but he never showed or called. I ended up paying someone off Craigslist. I do not recommend paying for the assembly service, but I highly recommend the fireplace. It took handyman about 3 hours to complete.

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

I absolutely love the tv stand. I received it about 6 days early which is a bonus. Assembly took about 2. 5 hours. And I found the instructions were pretty straight forward if you pay attention to the details on the pics. FYI theres a seperate set of instructions for the heating unit for those who have trouble figuring out how to install the crystals. Hint:You have to remove the screws holding the glass panel in place. Overall a great unit it can probably hold a 75" TV, mine is a 70" and I still have alot of play on both sides of the display. I highly recommend.

No Regrets

Wonderful tv stand!! Absolutely love the style, VERY sturdy, much more so than I expected for being made of particleboard. The glass shelves are sturdy too! I should know. I accidentally dropped one twice on another while trying to adjust the shelf spacing (which you can do!). The fireplace is beautiful and gives off a nice heat ranging from 68-82 degrees.  BE AWARE!!! - the colors do not normally change on the black oak model. I called up Ameriwood and bought JUST the deluxe fireplace insert with LED's and remote so my black model will change colors. (It only cost 80 bucks for all of it) so if you are interested in mixing and matching Ameriwood can help you out!  I suggest it too because not only to the two side panel LED's change but the FLAME color changes too on the deluxe version (as well as a rainbow shift option for BOTH). This tv stand is seriously the best. Absolutely gorgeous and so darn toasty. 10/10

AMAZING

For the money, cannot complain. 
I assembled it myself over several days.A little at a time, it was not too difficult.
I found it odd that the instructions on inserting the crystals were in the owner's manual rather than the Assembly instructions. I had already figured out how to insert them by the time I found that.
It works well and heats up my living room nicely. Very pleased to find that the crystals, flame  and heater all have separate controls.
There were a couple minor cosmetic damages, like small chips, on the structure that had been painted over, but nothing too serious.

Great for the $$

Looks fine, assembly took a while.  Heat works pretty good but my god the noise it makes when displaying the fake flames is so loud and annoying. Of all things to make noise why would fake fire be a constant clicking? Idk if it's like that for everyone or if mine is just defective but really I can't run it with the flame effect turned on because it's that annoying.
