My place is about 700sqft facing SSW with absolutely no barrier between me and the sun from 1-10pm in the summer. It's basically like sitting in a frying pan. But if I close my bedroom door and set it to its coolest possible temp (64F/17C), this little thing powers through the blazing heat in the rest of the house while I work from home all day! I open the bedroom door when it's cooled down enough in the rest of the house. It's not super loud, there's just a nice strong white noise. I was expecting worse. Has changed the way I feel about (read: dread) summer. NOTE: This basically uses a full 1 kWh of power (costs about $0.18) every hour it's on, which isn't terrible, but can add up if you keep it on all day. I tend to use it from mid-afternoon until about 8pm to keep it around $1 a day.

Life Saver

So far pretty good air conditioner.  Will cool a medium sized room 400-500sq ft.  Will drop the room temp 10degs if needed.  Its fairly quiet.  My only complaint is the hose that was included was a bit short for me but thats because my window openings are up high.

Decent air conditioner

Cooled down my bedroom in no time. Was actually quite amazed! Now my 3.5month of puppy and myself can sleep comfortably while going through this Alberta heat wave. Awesome investment. Good looking/working unit. Would buy again!

Totally satisfied.  It has saved my summer and so many other things.  It has brought us hours,days and nights of enjoyment.  The design is sublime.  Easy to assemble and friendly user...I have only praises for this item and wished I had discovered it earlier.

a marvellous addition to my living room

We have bought this unit, because it is good for 500sq ft and it is cooling down our bedroom nicely. So far all is well and we are happy with the cooing effect. It is noisier than we expected and it will take some time to get used to it! Tonight we will try ear plugs ; ) Better than being too hot!
We ordered it through Walmart.ca online and we're happy to receive it on the day it was promised for!!,

Only thing I'm not happy about is the vent kit. It's too short. It hasn't been warm enough yet to tell how much it cools down the place, but it seems to be pretty quiet and working fine.

De'Longhi

Just what we needed in our MBR! Just in time for this crazy heat wave! I took away 1 star because it is noisy overall and makes a rhythmic clicking sound when it cycles on that has woken me up a few times. I couldn't bear the heat so I'll learn to tolerate the noise.

Works beautifully but very noisy!

This unit does just what was promised for my home office.  It beats back the >35C heat (with low humidity) and keeps the room comfortably below 25 C.  The hot air exhaust tubing was not quite long enough to reach the window easily, so I ordered a longer (2 m) version.  I've been using the unit every day for over a month now - and running it 24 h per day, set at 21 C, for the last 2 weeks, with no problems.  The fan is a bit loud, but not too irritating since it just becomes white noise.

It delivers what was promised

Although the product does cool the room as expected the tubing/hose falls out from the body and window attachment of the air conditioner easily.  Also sleep mode/lowest mode is not much quieter than the highest mode, which some buyers might appreciate knowing before purchasing.

De Longhi PAC EM370 500sq ft AC

I thought this would be a good unit, but I have a Kross unit that's 1000 BTUs less and kicks out more cold air than this unit. I wouldn't buy this unit again.

Just ok...

Bought this air conditioner 4/18/24. It was great while it lasted. Last month , June 2025 , quit cooling & would only blow hot air . Always kept the screen cleaned & rinsed off often . Checked & there wasn't any condensation to drain. Come to find out there isn't a screen covering the bottom vents in the back & back is not removable. When I looked with a flashlight, all the “ guts” were covered with dust & some pet hair . Very poor design in my opinion. A simple screen covering vents on back ( bottom of unit ) would have eliminated this. Now I'm out a costly air conditioner . Only 14 months old & used for 1 summer June - August 2024.
