I loved the smell of it as well. It worked great under my foundation &other complexion products. It also worked great on my bare skin without foundation. I love this stuff so much I am gunna have to buy another bottle - I am almost out of the first tube (I have been using it everyday for over a month). I highly recommend for anyone looking for that blurring effect with or without makeup! ♥️

I've used so many different kinds of primer but when my daughter give me this primer when she was going through her makeup I used it and couldn't believe it not only does it just swipe your pores away other blemishes it seems to cover up and last a long time I'm a firm believer in it. you should definitely try if you have any blemishes scars or large pores.

Best L'Oréal Primer

this is my go to favorite L'Oreal Paris product.
IT really does all it says it does.
I'm 55 ,and over the years of wearing the mask because of Covid. My face broke out terrible from where the mack sat on my face.
And because of the break outs my pores were bigger and I felt
like  should have been a teenager going thru puberty.
But this L'Oreal Paris product that i have been using for about 6 months or so has changed my face in so Many great ways..
pores are smaller,no acne scares to see.
And fine lines and wrinkles have totally diminished.
So I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS.
You will notice and feel a difference with you FIRST application.
And no matter how you apply,its the right way.
Again I'm 55 ,fair skin and L'Oreal Paris does it again for me : )

I have oily skin and pores that are hard to cover and this primer has been of the best ones. It's a shame they don't sell it in many of our local stores.

Best Primer

Works well on redness. Goes on smoothly with or without makeup.  Best product I've used for redness.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first day of wearing I was definitely not oil-free but it gave an overall matte finish to my skin upon first viewing of the application. At the end of the day I still had oil in my oily zones but I felt that it was not as heavy or concentrated as it normally is. I feel like after wearing this product for several applications that my oil is definitely reduced but it was not completely gone. I feel that this is a great primer for oily skin.

Pros and cons!

I don't love the coverage this provides as a primer. Pores are more visible than they should be and the texture is a bit off. I believe it's too dry as there isn't a velvet or satin feel with this product that a primer should give you. The product is thick, which is good but it doesn't blend onto the skin well. It looks like it's creamy until you apply and blend then it patches in places. Also when applying makeup over this primer because it doesn't blend well, it leaves foundation looking cakey and I use Ilia serum foundation which never looks cakey! I normally use Dr. Brandt, Cover fx, Huda beauty or Il Makiage primers but wanted to try something a bit more affordable. I really wanted to like this! Unfortunately it doesn't meet up to my expectations at all.
