Provides detailed sound with excellent bass.

Setup process is fast and easy to follow with clear guidance.

Can be clear, but also mediocre in quality.

Comfortable around ears without feeling too tight.

The headphones build quality is really good, they feel light to wear, the sound is amazing.
I dont like the way they sound with Spatial audio in the app, the sound quality drops, I use them with DTS and the Dolby app, the Dolby app sounds better for me, so far I love them.

jbl.com

Fit great for my Giant head. Sound quality is like no other. I could hear sounds in games that I didn't even know were there. Mic is not the best but definitely isn't terrible. Careful at full volume, it'll rock your world

Best Headset I've owned

walmart.com

After using this for about a month now I must say i am Very impressed. The sound is clean and crisp, drivers are simple to install and the headset is very comfy for long gaming sessions. They are a very nice fit around the ears without causing any irratation at all. The mic picks up my voice perfectly and is very crisp and clear. Improved my gaming overall as you can hear so much more using this headset. LED lights are very nice and go together nicely with my corsair keyboard and mouse. Overall I am very impressed with this headset and I highly recommend it to any gamer looking for there perfect headset.

Excellent sound quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took me three months to find the hybrid product I was looking for. Nothing better than comfort for hours while enjoying rich quality sound. Harman Kardon has defined sound once again. Thanks for such a great and innovative product.

Awesome scape through sound quality!

I really started to use these in anger and initially I thought they sounded a little over powered on the bass with muted highs, but as soon as I installed the Quantum engine software the headset really started to sing and I was shock how good it could sound! I was initially prompted to update the firmware on the headset but this was a painless process that took no more than 2 mins. Calibration was simple using the included calibration earpiece.
The 3d surround effect is so good its almost too immersive, and I find in games this is a real help when trying to locate sounds within the environment.
The box and presentation is great, the materials are very premium and I especially like how comfortable the memory foam ear cushions are.
If I was to make any negative point it would be that the inline mic/chat bias control is more suited for setups that have the cable coming up over the rear of the desk, but this is trivial considering how good the headset performs.

Great headset, clear punchy sound.

These are my first gaming pair from JBL. I was expecting a lot better from them. I have a pair or daily JBL for music that I LOVE. However these JBL Quantum headphones have a very cheap feel ear padding, they slide my head VERY easily. So if you have a small head, these aren't for you. The sound quality is good, I give it a 7/10. They disconnect, RANDOMLY. Overall, I wish I could return them but I am out of time.

I have had this headset for a while now and have had nothing but problems with it. Every time i try to use it the sound does not work and i have to continuously unplug it and plug it back in until the sound works. I have tried updating driver changing setting and nothing has worked other then spending time unplugging it and plugging it back in until it work and it is very frustrating when all i want to do is spend a little time gaming on my weekend. They sound great when I can get them to work and they are very comfortable but that means nothing if they don't work.

Not worth the money

Honest Review of the JBL Quantum Headset

I really wanted to love these, and I was actually excited enough to buy two during the Black Friday sale. Even at 70 percent off, though, I'm returning both. They just aren't worth it.

First, the ear cups are smaller than expected for a true over ear fit. They feel more on ear than around ear, and the material they used is some kind of leather or leather-like fabric that doesn't breathe at all. After a short session my ears were already warm and sweaty, which is not something I've had issues with on other headsets.

The cord design is also frustrating. There is a big volume controller right in the middle of the cable, so the wire hangs awkwardly and constantly pulls or gets caught. It never feels comfortable.

The biggest issue, though, is the audio feedback through the microphone. No matter how much I played with the settings, I could not get it to sound right. It always had this strange loop or echo inside the headset. I genuinely tried to fine tune it, and while it got a little better, it never reached anything close to acceptable. Logitech does this far better. Honestly, even though Logitech has moved away from wired headsets, I would rather keep using my old broken Logitech pair than these.

The mic design itself is also disappointing. The foam tip looks outdated, like a 1950s operator mic, and the wires sticking out around the ear pieces bunch up and look sloppy. For a headset with a listed price of 320 dollars, it feels nowhere near premium. Even for the 100 dollars I paid, they're not worth it.

Really disappointed, especially since I was looking forward to upgrading. Returning both units.

Honest Review of the JBL Quantum Headset

Don't buy unless you want to experience bad audio, no ergonomics and feel like your head is trapped in a bag.

Where do I even start with this thing. First of all, it sounds like static half of the time, I downloaded drivers, switched ports, everything, the static wont go away. The microphone is barely decent. The headphone itself is very tight and feels like it sticks to your head in a very uncomfortable way.

I should have listened to the other reviews. These headphones are terrible.

Would never recommend or ever buy JBL again.

I think the title says it all. If you're a gamer, these are not for you. The audio quality is ok for music, but nothing else. The app lacks features. The noise-cancelling features work ok. I can still hear outside sounds. The app has a pass-through feature that doesn't allow passive use. I'm used to open-can headphones. I wanted to use this feature permanently, but the app doesn't allow it. The one thing JBL did get right is spatial sound. I have no complaints here. That is the one feature that helped me in gaming. These are ok to wear for extended periods of time. I wear them for 8-12 hours sometimes. They don't hurt or anything, but they don't stay where you adjust them either.

Awful for gaming
