I love this little kettle. I was traveling and the hotel did not have a kettle in the room and I love my tea. So I bought this and it works great, is small and easy to pack. It also works pretty fast for a little kettle and the water is HOT! I also used it for heating up some soup. I love it.

Great Travel companion

Compact, seems well made and safe. The capacity is adequate. The only problem is that it seems to take a long time to boil. But we are happy with it as a travel kettle. Cannot be used for Europe because it cannot be used with 240 voltage. It's not just a matter of adapting the plug.

Cute, boils in minutes. Nice steel pot with no exposure to element. Turns off after boil . Option to keep it hot. Unplug if not using for safety. Nice colour.

lovely little kettle and super portable! It's perfect if your apartment is small and you need a tiny electric hot pot or tea pot, as it allows you to heat continuously.

According to Statistics Canada, about 29.3% of Canadian households consist of a single person. Yet, kitchen appliances often prefer the big-bigger-biggest trend, leaving people who live alone in the cold.
This appliance is a counterexample. It has a cooking capacity (maxline) of 700 ml and a total content of 1200 ml (prevents boiling over), enough for most preparations for most singles.
The pot is in stainless steel and wide enough for easy cooking and cleaning.
While I would have preferred better temperature regulation, the two settings are genuinely well-chosen and practical.
Small appliances are often cheap and flimsy imitations of their larger versions, but this is not the case here. In my experience, it is solidly built and while time will have to tell, I see no reasons to anticipate an early demise.
It took me a long time to find it because it is to be found in the tea kettle category. I would have bought it much earlier if it had been classified in a small cooker category, but it arguably fits both.
In all, I am a happy user of this cooker and recommend it to all people who are looking for a small cooker without needing a stove.

Just what a hungry bachelor needs

This unit is slow to boil water and does not switch itself off once the water boils. It packs up nicely but the  speed an lack of an automatic switch is problematic.
