I can; really tell if the blades are sharper than my old fussion blades, but I do like the pivoting handle. This is the best razor ever made barring none.

The Gillette Fusion ProGlide Manual Mens Razor with FlexBall handle is the best razor I have ever used. Literally. I have used many different Gillette razors over the years, but this design is their best. Light pressure provides a great means of trimming around my beard. Concentration can focus on shaving a straight line versus worrying about getting a close shave. I am still unhappy the blades are so expensive, but the razor is great ! If the manufactured put together a bargain deal so one could purchase a quantity blades in bulk I would take advantage of the opportunity.

Having slight acne scarred skin from when I was a kid, this razor is awesome for me to shave with. I am in the military and have to shave every morning before going into work. It holds up well for me, one razor normally averages about a weeks worth use. I just wish the cost would come down just a bit.

Excellent for sensitive skin

I have used the Pro glide since it was first available and noticed it stayed sharp far longer than other razors I have had and I have been shaving since 1959.
I started using the last Pro glide blade on March 17, 2010 and just quit using it on June 20, 2011 !! I quit using it not because it is dull but because the rubber strip came off the razor and I don't want to cut myself. The shave was still close and did not scrape at all. I am Irish on both sides of my family and have a normal to heavy beard and shave at least 5 days per week depending on my work schedule.
An excellent product I would recommend to anyone.

Excellent razor.

Great Shave! But I expected that from this product which is the next generation of shavers. I can't
use it everyday but it is most effective for me every two days or so.

Smooth to the touch

Blade broke off arm shaving. The tiny piece of cheap plastic clip holding it strapped and became a useless blade. At the cost paid for these it's a sad waste of money.  So disappointed that I spent good $ for something they should have known could happen. Better quality control is needed.

Poor quality plastic

I rotate through 2 razors brands other than Gillette. I decided to try the Gillette Proglide, since I've been using the Proglide gel. I have no issue with the razor or blades. It's just when I started looking at buying more cartridges, I realized that they are relatively more expensive. I'm not really getting a better shave with the Proglide compared to my other brands. So, Proglide is not worth the extra $. I am enamored with the snazzy look and feel, but not enough to pay more money for the system.
