Directions are difficult to comprehend and require practice to follow accurately.

First this definitely does what it's supposed to do. You have to experiment a little to find the right rhythm. 2. Even though it says it's better to use when wet or in water, don't. It just makes it hard for it to grab the hairs (it does help for pain) Use dry and exfoliate before. Also use at the 90 degree angle but move SLOWLY! The faster you go the more you'll have to go over that same area. Use on the fastest setting. I've only used on my legs and it feels similar to a tattoo but not as painful. It is tolerable depending on your tolerance ofc. Trim bikini area before you use it on that hedge. I'll use tattoo numbing cream for my bikini area because I'm not experiencing what that pain may feel like without it. I'll update if the numbing cream helps. It's not as quick as regular shaving but it lasts longer.

I have been using this electric shaver and facial cleaner for over 3 weeks now and I love it. The electric razor has reduced my shave time in the shower. My hair is growing back slower and I seem to need to shave just a bit less. The full charge has lasted me 3 shaves! The instructions state minor sensitivity could occur in spots, which happen to be under my arms. After an initial use, the sensitivity reduces and now is much better. The facial cleanser is another plus, it's a refreshing clean feel after use. I don't use it daily, but it has joined my regular routine.

Shave and Trim Hair Easily!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the opportunity to try the Silk-epil 9 SensoSmart 9/880 Wet And Dry epilator in exchange for my honest feedback... It's a quality product and fairly easy to use! It was a bit intimidating for me since I'm always rushing through what little time I take for my routine. It's effective, has great features and once you get used to it the discomfort goes away.  All in all, a great product!

I did have to change directions a few times. I used the gentle speed until I can get more uses in. If you can handle waxing you should have no problem with this. It's gentler on the skin. On my face it didn't hurt much because I am used to it. I would definitely  recommend this to anyone looking for a different form of hair removal. I had no skin reaction and almost no redness.

Great switch from shaving

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this epilator for my arms and legs but I found it to be too painful on longer/ hair areas.   I think a numbing cream would be great to add for those people like me who have coarse hair.  I would love to use in my underarms and bikini area.

Works great on legs and arms

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The epilator is different. Definitely not like something I have tried before. I do prefer a regular electric razor which is why I was happy it came with another head. The epilator head worked great for my chin hairs, but it took some getting used to. When I first used it on my legs dry I did not care for it. I could not get pass the plucking. It was much better in the shower but a razor does a better job because there is less passing.

Some of the benefits of owning this product is that your hair doesn't grow as fast. I saved under my arm using the shaver attachment, and used the epilator head to clean it up. It was painful in the beginning but I got used to it. But I will say the hair is taking longer to grow back. The beauty is pain lol.

I would recommend this product only because there's another shaver head. Even though the epilator is painful in the beginning hair does take longer to grow back. This product is not for the sensitive.
