I have been looking for ages for clippers for my long haired Chihuahua.  Her hair is very thick and she gets so hot in the summer.  But all the dog clippers even the ones that say they are quite. are not. This clipper is so quiet she never even tried to stop me from shaving her down to 1ml. The clippers cut like butter.  She is loving her new furless coat. Dog clippers were in the $75-$90 range.

I bought this to cut/trim my elderly father's new beard. It has a couple of different trim sizes you can use and a small brush to clean.
It charges easily with a C-cord and it'sa very attractive appliance. I decided to cut the entire beard off and it cut almost as closely as an electric razor. I never nicked or hurt my father which was my main concern.

The quality is good but the cut is unrefined which i prefer but makes it hard to control and the clippers are fairly large still for a beard so I couldn't see well enough when I was edging up around the neck and marred my beard around the jaw so had to knock it down to a goatee. I tried all the settings. Since I have a light colored beard with gray it can be hard to match the length. I recommend going with the grain otherwise it can marred your beard. Probably as good as it gets for the price. I used to use the blue and orange one from Gillette to keep a 5 o'clock shadow but prefer different lengths now so got this. This comes with a USB-a to 2prong DC so if you loose the cord it's not replaceable. Will try something different next time. Stuck with this for now.

The battery life honestly sucks if you have a full beard and are trying to shape and trim. The spinning thingy works cool just I think I'll stick to regular sized clips.

It does not hold a charge for very long
I learned to use it once recharge it. I thought it would be a lot better, but it doesn't cut very well.

Choose a different trimmer

bought this, have not used it yet, but am considering returning it because the packaging reflects "Gillette" and the shaver itself reflects "Braun"?    Gillette has nothing to do with Braun brand.  I am confused Walmart.

why G packaging and shaver reflects Braun name

This trimmer takes forever to charge and runs down very quickly. The on/off switch is hard to press and as far as trimming goes it not very precise. The trimmer my husband had earlier lasted for years. This one is going into the recycling bin after 6 months use.
