What are my free shipping options?
We offer a range of free shipping options to make your holiday shopping experience more enjoyable and affordable!
Home Delivery – FREE shipping on orders above $50 before taxes to many locations across Canada. However, a shipping charge will apply if your order is less than $50, contains heavy or oversized items, and/or is being shipped to a remote market.
Walmart Pickup – FREE in store Pickup on orders over $25 before taxes. For orders under $25, there’s a small $5 handling fee.
Canada Post – FREE pickup at select Canada Post locations on orders above $25 before taxes. For orders under $25, there's a small $5 handling fee. A little note—there’s a $50 shipping charge for Canada Post pickup in remote markets.
Any shipping charges, if they apply, will be noted in your cart and during checkout.
Good to know: Many of our products can be shipped to a Canada Post location, but some can only be shipped to your home. There are two reasons why an item may not be suitable for Canada Post pickup:
- It’s too large or too heavy.
- Some orders come directly from third party vendors that are unable to ship to a Canada Post location. We are working to make it possible for them to ship to these locations.
Shipping charges for heavy and/or oversized items
There is a shipping cost for heavy and/or oversized items. But how “heavy” is heavy, and what is considered “oversized”?
Heavy items: Weigh more than 80 lbs (36 kg).
Oversized items: The length of the package is greater than 96 inches (244 cm), OR the girth of the package is greater than 216 inches (549 cm). Girth = (package width + package height) x 2.
We show an estimated shipping cost in your shopping cart as you add or remove products from your cart. This estimate is based on our lowest-price shipping method and assumes all items in your cart are going to a single address within Canada.
Please note: Walmart does not ship products sold by Third Party Sellers. Please refer to the Third Party Seller's shipping policy for more details.
We’ve got you covered for all of your holiday shopping needs! We know you have parties to go to, people to see, and feasts to prepare. Sometimes it’s hard to go and buy those special gifts for your loved ones. That’s why we have extended holiday hours for your convenience with select stores open until midnight.

Absolutely. All you have to do is contact us within 30 days of your order, provide us with a copy of your digital receipt (email) and we’ll refund the difference. Please note that any items on Clearance are not eligible.
While we ship most purchases in a standard brown box, some items may be shipped in their original container, or have the name of the product stamped on the box.
Yes, we do accept Walmart Canada gift cards for online purchases. Simply select “Gift Card” as a payment option at checkout and type in the gift card numberand PIN. The value of the gift card will be deducted from your purchase.

Unfortunately, at this time we don't accept PayPal payments for online purchases.
Deliveries of small-to-medium-sized packages will go right to your front door, or in the case of apartment buildings, to your lobby. Heavy and/or oversized items will be delivered curbside. Unfortunately, we are not able to bring deliveries directly into your home.
In some remote markets, delivery is available for direct points only. A direct point is the final delivery point of the carrier, for example, at Canada Post that could mean a post station, or for other carriers that could be a retail center depot. You will be notified once their shipment arrives and is ready for pick up.

By simply logging into your Walmart.ca account, you’re able to track your order. After clicking on the “Track order” link, you’ll see the status of your order. If it’s in transit or already waiting for you at home or at your chosen Canada Post office, you’ll be in the loop.

Holiday Return Policy
Extended Holiday Return Policy
Items purchased between December 1, 2018 - December 25, 2018 can be returned by:
- January 9, 2019 for items with a 14 day return window
- January 10, 2019 for items with a 15 day return window
- January 25, 2019 for items with a 30 day return window
There is no change to the 90 day return window.
Many products are available for return within 90 days, with a few exceptions. Most items can be returned in store, or through mail. We’ll even cover the return shipping cost!
