What is live order tracking?
Live order tracking is Walmart.ca’s latest enhancement for Grocery Delivery. It’s currently available in select areas only. Now, customers can track their Grocery Delivery orders in real time once the order is out for delivery and on its way. Here are some of the great features of live order tracking:
- A live map updated every 30 seconds showing the driver location as they make their way to you.
- Real-time estimated time of arrival.
- Visibility to the driver’s name and delivery carrier name.
- Sometimes, vehicle model and colour may be available depending which carrier is delivering the order.
How can I access live order tracking for my Grocery Delivery order?
You must be a registered Walmart.ca customer to access and view live order tracking. Once your grocery order is out for delivery, you’ll receive a notification via email and SMS (if you’ve opted in to receive these notifications in your account settings) with a link to live track where your order is. When you click on the link provided, you’ll be prompted to sign in to your Walmart.ca account. After that — you can easily start live tracking your Grocery Delivery order!
