Which items qualify for Free Pickup?
All general merchandise shipped and fulfilled by Walmart will qualify for Free Pickup for orders over $35 (before taxes & fees). A flat fee of $7.97 applies to orders below $35 (before taxes & fees with limited exceptions (see below – What is not eligible for Walmart Pickup?). When shopping on Walmart.ca, please look for the Free Pickup message under the Pickup icon in the product page.
To see if an item is eligible for Next Day Pickup, check the estimated delivery date on the product page under “Pickup” and “When can you get it?”. If it estimates one day later, that means the item is available for Next Day Pickup.

How does Walmart Pickup work?
1. Choose Walmart Pickup when placing your order.
2. We’ll confirm your order by emailing you when it’s ready.
3. Pick it up at your store’s Pickup Point and show a Government Issued Photo I.D. along with the order receipt.
When will the items that I ordered online be available for pickup at the store?
Some items ordered online will be available for Next Day Pickup because they may be sourced from your local Walmart store instead of our warehouse. Other items ordered online will be available for Walmart Pickup within 4-12 business days from when the order was placed. This will vary depending on your Walmart store location and shipping region within Canada.
Can I change the pickup location after placing my order?
No. At this time, you cannot change your pickup location once your order is placed.
What else should be considered when placing an order?
Product assembly is not included and gift wrapping is not available. Also, products may be larger than expected due to packaging. Please consider this when choosing the vehicle used to pick up your order.
How long will the order be held for pickup?
The order will be held in a secure location for 7 days from the day the order is ready for pickup. You will receive an email when your items are ready for pickup, along with a date by which the items must be collected. Any items that are not picked up in this timeframe will be cancelled and a refund will be made to your original method of payment.
What do I need to bring when I pick up my order at the store?
You will need to bring a Government Issued Photo I.D. and a copy of your Ready for Pickup email. You can also show the email on your phone if you prefer.
Can someone other than the person who placed the order pick it up at the store?
Yes! If someone else picks up the order, we will ask for the name on the order and the order number. Please ensure the person picking up the order has this information.
Where do I go in the store to pick up my order?
An email will be sent to you with Pickup point directions for your selected Walmart store. Your Pickup point with either be at a Pickup parking spot (available at select stores only), a Pickup booth, or a Pickup tower inside the store.
Why are some items in my order ready for pickup on different days?
Great question! The reason some items in your order may be ready for pickup on different days depends on where the items ship from. For example, some items may be available for Next Day Pickup because they may be sourced from your local Walmart store instead of our warehouse. Items that come from the warehouse will be available for pickup within 4-12 business days from when the order was placed. This will vary depending on your Walmart store location and shipping region within Canada.
Why can’t I schedule a pickup?
At this time, you aren’t able to select a time slot for your online Walmart Pickup order. Some items in your order may come from different locations and we wouldn’t be able to guarantee shipping in accordance with individual pickup times. Instead, we’ll notify you via email when items in your order are ready for pickup.
