This blanket is light but the tight weave will keep you warm. I bought it in the French blue colour and it looks as though I purchased it from a much higher end store. Great price. Ordered on line on a Saturday evening and was at my door Monday. Very pleased with my purchase.

I wasn't sure about the thickness and quality of the product seeing the price was very affordable. After receiving the first blanket, I was very satisfied so I ordered a second one.

Excellent quality for the price

I love it!! And as a throw, it's large enough to double, if you need more warmth. If it gets thru it's first wash and dry, without issues, I'll by another :)

Nice Old Fashioned Cotton Blanket

This blanket is perfect for summer. Not heavy at all and fits bed true to size.

Simply wanted a cotton blanket

I ordered the blue blanket and the material is very good. It is warm and I love that it's 100% cotton.

(oh, and by the way, "French blue" is code for "grey")... When putting it in the washing machine for the first time it left so much junk (you can't even call it lint) that I couldn't believe it! It's like a big mush of wet paper! The photo shows what I swept up after shaking the blanket out after taking it out of the washing machine. There was another handful of this stuff stuck to the inside of the washing machine – I hate to think what it might've done to the plumbing!  I'm expecting handfuls of dry lint once it's done in the dryer. I'm going to run an empty load once or twice through the washing machine to try and clear out the lint in the system. If it does this after the second washing, I'm throwing the blanket out – it's just too risky for the washing machine and plumbing system!

Disaster in the washing machine

The material easily fades to washing and most tiring what there are of mini-particles of dust that pick up in ball from this blanket on the floor around bed...damage that I did not keep the original bag otherwise I would have returned it.

Not very good quality material

I ordered this blanket online in June 2015 and used it for the summer and fall of last year, then took it back out this past spring.  Although it's already been washed a few times, it still pills and shed tons of residue all over my sheets, clothing, hair and floors.  I'd pretty much have to take a lint roller or vacuum cleaner to it, the bed and the floors, every morning!  Also, the color is nothing like illustrated on the website.  It's closer to a light green than a light blue.
