We liked the uniqueness of this vehicle, so we purchased it for our 3 yr old grandson as a  Christmas present. It took about 3.5 hours to assemble with 2 people. You are going to need a phillips screwdriver %26 a power drill. Using the drill helped with the assembly %26 that way the screws, which are small, won't become stripped, which makes them unuseable. We are pleased with our purchase.

Every Kid’s Dream Excavator!

My son absolutely loves this excavator! The 24V power is perfect — it rides smoothly even on grass and small bumps. The remote control is a big plus, especially for younger kids — parents can easily help steer. The battery lasts a long time, and the digging arm actually works, which makes it so much fun! It’s sturdy, safe, and looks just like a real construction vehicle. Great value for the price — highly recommend!

Amazing ride-on excavator for kids! 🚜

Initially the box and all the unlabeled pieces seemed intimidating. I was concerned it was going to be hard to put together. My sister and I were also concerned because a previous review said we needed a drill and it took that reviewer 3.5 hours with two people. 

This was my first time putting together something like this. We were tired because we had just come from late Mass at church and I had to wait for my daughter to go to sleep. The best advice I can give you is to have a Phillips head screwdriver and follow the directions step by step. There is no need to use a drill. Having a second person is helpful. It also comes with a plastic tool to help with the big bolts. I am impressed with the quality and the directions made it so easy to put it together. We didn’t time ourselves but it did take longer than an hour, maybe two hours and we were extremely tired. 

It also can be put together without the over-the-head part if you have a taller child. The battery is not huge, nor does it come out. It’s just two orange clips that snap together. The connection is directly behind the leg. The power button is on the right side of the steering wheel on the panel and it has a flap over it. You will need 2 AA and 2 AAA batteries. One set for the horn that is located in the steering wheel and the other set for the external remote. I promise, if you read and follow the directions without skipping or assuming you know what you’re doing, you will do just fine.

My son loves the toy…but when I plugged the charger into the wallthe led light came on for 1 second then went out and stopped charging

Bought for our grandson who just turned 3. My daughter says it is definitely his favorite gift. He wants to ride it all the time. We also gave him a few bags of sand so he could scoop it up and move it around. Glad we purchased it!!

It’s affordable and easy to assemble, and I like that it comes with a remote control. However, it’s very flimsy — if you’re not careful, it won’t survive the assembly process. It doesn’t work on grass, only on flat surfaces. Overall, it’s a nice‑looking ride‑on toy for kids who love construction vehicles

It’s fun works decently . Have had  some issue with the remote connecting but overall it’s nice . The only reason for the 3 stars is that the plastic itself is somewhat cheap, don’t expect it to last for years like I was hoping but for the cost and novelty of it I would buy it again

my son absolutely loved this ride on excavator.  but for some reason the toy stopped driving.  remote will allow the front wheels to go left and right but the thing wont move forward or backwards anymore . very disappointed!!!
