Reviews of this bed on this site and others are mixed, with many people saying that it starts to squeak over time. I'm not gonna lie, if it was me and my fat husband sleeping on it, I probably wouldn't have chanced it. It's for my teen who is considerably smaller than either of us. The price beats everything else I was able to find, though I did spend my "savings" paying someone else to put it together. I'm no fool. The parts came in great condition, which was a HUGE relief because the boxes took quite a beating in transport. BTW, the bed shipped much sooner than expected, so that was a plus. My handyman got the bed together by himself in about 90 min, though the instructions say it should take 2 people about 20 minutes. I had a chuckle over that one. It seems as sturdy as you can possibly expect a pressed-wood bed to be. We'll see!

Nothing was marked. Parts and pieces was guesswork during assembly

Parts

Arrived with large crack on a piece of the headboard headboard, did not affect stability, easily replaced, and  I received a discount so I kept the product anyway. However, the box was not damaged so i suspect it was already damaged at tge time it was shipped to me. The part of the frame that my mattress sits on is larger than my queen size mattress, and a light wood color that clashes with the color of the bed so it is kind of ugly.  It is very sturdy and is not made out of super cheap, junky  materials. Drawers stick and are hard to open. Overall, considering the  price and quality of the product, I am still satisfied and would purcase again.

Flawed, bt quailty  better than expected for price

I had to return this bed, it came badly damaged. From what I could see it looked like it would have been nice. They would not send replacement parts, so I returned it for a refund. Waiting on my refund, they just picked it up today.

Damaged, returned it.
