I recently suffered a traumatic amputation of the left great toe. The recovery shoe brands they recommended were difficult to accommodate my foot width and height. Not only does the shoe fit great it makes my heals feel cradled, my feet overall feel stable ,so much so I will not have to do any physical therapy!, Thanks Asics.

Being someone with flat feet and sore ankles all the time, these are by far the best shoes I've found for walking/jogging or working out in. Very supportive and so incredibly comfortable. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a great workout shoe.

Supportive, wide, comfortable

After switching back from New Balance I learned that Ascis is the better shoe for me. I have low arches, but not flat-feet so I need a good supportive shoe, but I can't tolerate that Rollbar heel technology. Although a little more midsole support would be ideal, this is literally the best shoe I've found. Great for walking on concrete 8+ miles a day at work and reducing fatigue and over pronation.

Good support, lightweight and comfortable.

This shoe has been my choice for several years now. It is very comfortable and stable. If your shoe size is wide, don't delay in your purchase. It seems Asics only makes a certain number of wide sizes and colors are more limited. If you wait until later in the year, they are less likely to be available. I had to wait until the new model was released before I could get a pair. Plan ahead if you need a size wide.

Great Shoe

Very good product overall.  Comfortable, yet giving decent support. The major problem is the material over the big toe shreds easily and leaves a gaping hole. This has been a problem with my last three pair of ASICS shoes. You may ask why I still buy them? Except for the hole in the material they are a very comfortable shoe. It's not a good look for the Asics brand when folks have a toe sticking out of an expensive shoe.

Very good shoe, bottoms much better than tops

Great design and colors. It feels like a great shoe. A bit heavy. But excellent for regular runners who are a tad heavy. But with every step the outer mesh folds in rubbing against the big toes. I'm waiting to hear back from customer service. I can't use them like that. Maybe it goes away after a while.

5th pair of Kayanos, all the past are 5 stars. But these ones have a faint in the toe cap. The fabric on the cap cuts into my big toes on right and left shoes. Is tried breaking them in, but they are basically unwearable at this point.

Can't explain it, but on both of my new gel-k 27's the front of the shoes aren't conforming to my feet like my other ASICS have.  And it feels like falling forward almost (I know I'm not but it's more the sensation I guess). Anyway lot of money to feel like that.

BE's new ASICS

I have bought 4 pair of Kayano every year for the last 10 years because of the fit...but this latest    version has a design flaw...the tip of the upper shell is somehow foam-formed and when the shoe bends (as if you step on tiptoes), an uncomfortable crease forms against the big toe.  Unless this isn't a design flaw and is a bad batch of manufacturing....I see other reviews cite the same issue so not just me or an isolated pair.
