Great buy, my feet move easily on the run. I've worn them to several Barry's classes, and I find I can get through them with relative comfort. Would buy again, 10/10 dentists would recommend.

They are the perfect shoe for neutral step runners. Most shoes push my foot to over pronate. Now I am able to get the perfect foot strike, which takes stress off of my knee and ankles. I will be buying these from now on. Oh, they have great cushion.

Perfect neutral and cushioned shoe.

I'm a longtime ASICS runner and mid-forefoot striker. My favorite shoes have been the Nimbus and older versions of the DS Trainer or Kinsei. 
But this shoe is my new favorite. It's light, responsive, and has great heel to toe transition. 
It feels nimble, almost like a racing flat, but has enough protection for a daily trainer. 
So glad I decided it was time to try the new generation of ASICS running shoes!

New favorites!!

The evo ride is a great show for someone looking for a mid-level trainer.  I struggle with supination and require a slightly wider mid-sole.  This shoe really hangs on through fast paced tempos, and has been nice for the local 5k winter series.  I give this shoe a 4 star rating.  Everything I expected out of a mid-level trainer, but a little stiff in the toe box for 5 starts.

Honest Review: EvoRide

I am a neutral runner, with a forefoot landing running method. Am a bit over by a few lbs. in my older age and do not run longer distances any more, prefer gravel, dirt and grass. Have high arches. I find this a rather comfortable shoe without excessive sponginess. Happy the heels are not too high, but the soles seem high and firm. Had a bit of discomfort from tightness on the outside at the top of one shoe, but gone after a few days or running and playing with lace tightness.  If this shoe performs OK for next months without wearing badly, I should rate it with 5 stars. Normally I use  11D and this 11D is a good fit, though a bit lengthy in toe and looks narrow, but doesn't feel narrow. Many thanks to the designers for a solid straight-forward running shoe.

Solid and comfortable

Great overall running shoe. I put about 40-50 miles/week into this shoe and it has handled all of the miles with no complaints. Adequate cushioning so I don't feel beat up but it is relatively firm. The EvoRide is also fairly responsive if you pick up your pace/cadence. The lockdown is great, consistent with the other Asics that I have ran in, although the tongue could use a little more padding or the shoe could use a little thicker laces. The rocker profile in the forefoot takes a little getting used to, but does a good job of propelling you through your stride. The midsole, outsole, and upper all seem to have good construction/allocation of materials and I expect to take these shoes to around 400-500 miles.

Great Daily Trainer

Good quality shoe. Very comfortable and stable during a run. This is my first pair of EvoRides, I have consistently bought Gel Cumulus in the past and loved them. The biggest difference seems to be that EvoRide has a slightly narrower toe box than the Gel Cumulus. The Evo is a great shoe.

Great running shoe, noticed a difference in my run time immediately.  My only complaint is the amount of cushion on the tongue which causes to much pressure on the top of my foot.  Maybe it's just me or it will take some getting used to.  I have about 30 miles of running on the shoe to date.

Too much Tongue

A very fast shoe with good support- similar to a Nike Zoom Fly. It's light, too. I don't understand the goal of the upper, though. It's very secure, but also adds substantial weight to the shoe and I personally would prefer a lighter mesh and less firm heel cup because the shoe could be made lighter without the unnessecary fluff. I've been using these for anything from 7 mile tempos to recovery runs. Its not an easy pace shoe though, it would need a bit more cushioning. Fits true to size.

Fast shoe, no carbon plate?

I've been wearing some version of the Gel GT 2000 for 20+ years.  Marathons, half-marathons, leisurely runs with friends.  Every once in a while I branch out to try something else; mostly I've been disappointed and this was no exception.  My 6-month old 2000s are a better shoe than this model new.  After a couple of "shakedown" runs of 4 miles I did not like them - but then found out I could only return them if they were unused.  How exactly do I test a running shoe then?!  My knees were a bit tender when I wore these on a moderate-paced 9 mile run with a friend.  So now they're just for wearing to the club to work out.

Not a serious shoe for running

Felt pain in Achilles half a mile into first run. Heel support was kinda weak. Would like to return but pulled tags and used. Going back to my old nimbus19 until I can come up with the cash for the nimbus 22. I can probably use these as walking shoes.
