This trunk is just what I was looking for. I wanted it for my granddaughter who will be heading off to college in September and I know that this one will last her for years to come and also the fact that your own padlock can be used on it really sealed the deal. We both are very happy with it. There was a slight delay in the delivery but it wasn't a problem at all.

Overall, the trunk looks nice. However, the wood is not thick and you can see we're all of the screws and divots have been placed. They actually break through the wood on the inside.

Not built as nice as they look

I bought this got my daughter to go to camp. For the money, it is cheaply constructed but should do the job. The handle is a thin, cheap plastic I doubt will last long. The lock mechanism is very flimsy and hardly catches. Luckily the clasps on either side will sufficiently hold the lid on.

Cheap trunk

I have to say I was disappointed with this item.  A hinge fell off the footlocker after taking it out of the box.  Also, it was difficult to roll using the built-in wheels.  I did like the appearance and size of the item.

Returning footlocker

it has great potential but the lock latch will not close. the key won't work either as it doesn't close shut and is not able to reach . I'm sure the positioning is too low making impossible to close. in the pictures you can see it's sideways aswell... maybe better luck next time.

This trunk is VERY cheaply made! I am not happy at all with this purchase! It is not worth the money!!!!

POORLY MADE! CHEAP TRUNK THAT IS VERY EXPENSIVE

I'm so mad, I had to write a review.  I DID NOT GET MY PRODUCT!!  Also, they charge $45 for delivery!!!  For this charge, i should have gotten it next day.  However, it took 2 weeks.  The ETA was supposed to be on Friday, Aug 20, they said it was delivered on Wed, Aug 18 at 10:08am, however, it was not.  Also, it was no chance it was taken, not only am I hear (working from home) everyday, but my office is close to the door AND I can pull up on my monitor to prove that nothing was dropped off at the door!  I called and since its 3rd party, I have to deal with the 3rd party....i ordered through WALMART, which means Walmart should take responsibility and make sure I get my item.  Since it was not delivered in time for my son to take it to school when he moved in, I had him come home to pick it up since it was scheduled for delivery, needless to say, this was a wasted trip.   When I contacted Walmart, they said the 3rd party would contact me within 48 hrs (another 2 days), still nothing...very frustrating.  I have ordered thousands of products from Amazon with no issues!  This is the first time I ordered from Walmart and I have issues.  Very disappointed!!!  If I can give anything below 1 star, I would!!

Buyer beware. I rarely leave reviews. This trunk is very poorly made. Center latch will not close. No keys came with the trunk, even though the tag says they are inside the trunk. All of the fasteners poke through on the inside of the trunk. Feels very cheap, like it will not hold up to any normal usage.
