The quality of this item was phenomenal. It's made in the USA %26 the assembly directions were pretty great, but I would just point out to make sure that you have 2 people to work on the upper portion and pay attention to the sticker placement (which sides, etc.) and the individual pieces for the appropriate sections, because it can be a little bit tricky. 

The final product is great though! I would highly recommend, and we did purchase it while it was on sale, so it was a fantastic purchase for the price and excellent quality. Our kids love it!! 5/5 stars all around!

It's very sturdy my kids jump on it. It has not broke and to take it apart is very easy. I would say the color is chipping a little bit but other than that, it's a really good bed.

Wonderful bed! Sturdy, beautiful, terrific value. Assembly is required. We were fortunate to have 2 people and cordless driver. The cordless driver was very useful, manually having to screw in all the various hardware may have taken a bit too long for us. 

Overall we are delighted and the kids adore the beds!!

After reading all of the three star and below reviews, I was skeptical also before purchasing this item. One of the things that originally kept me from adding it to my cart was the fact that other metal bunk beds could support 400lbs on the top bunk, and the bottom; but, none of them looked as good as this bunk bed. Though, in general, I didn't want to put together so many pieces of wood... it was EXTREMELY EASY! I put together the entire bed, myself; and in only two hours. To make sure nothing happened crazy in the end, I did get another person to help me load the twin bed above the full bed for final placement. The bed is EXTREMELY STURDY. EXTREMELY. And it looks great, just as it looks in the pictures. I was not missing any of the parts and they were all labeled clearly. The instruction manual could not have been written better as it is extremely succinct. There was a 90 day free return on the item when I purchased it, so that gave me peace of mind also. The slats on both of the beds are very strong and when putting down a coil mattress, nothing else was required underneath. If you're looking for a sturdy bed, this one's for you!

It is a lot of work to assemble and the ladder is a space saving issue. Otherwise it's great.

Very cheap materials!!! Some of the wood railings have been badly painted and the wood is actually visible. The wooden slats that will support the mattress should have been painted so the person in the lower bunk would not be inhaling the dust particles of the wood, these slats just came from the sawmill and were put in the box! The hardware should have been labeled in the back too so when you flip it to look for the label, screws won't fall out! Very hard to assemble especially the headboard and footboard of the upper and lower bunk, I'm a mechanic and I like building things but this one was very hard! Slats should have been more and not have a 9 and a quarter inch space so you can put a memory foam and not only spring mattress!

Very poor quality bunk bed!
