I needed to repair my son n laws work boots because the heel came 1/2 way off this tacky glue works great!  I also used it to glue all the cab of my SUV ceiling liner back into place.  It works great!

This is our favorite glue. We use it for everyday use and all our crafts. Dries clear, we think it dries fast and the big size bottle is a plus for us, because we use it for all our glue uses.

Our Glue Friend

We bought this for my daughter to build her hobby dollhouse and it worked great. She was able to use it without it making a huge mess and it held together very well.

Works great for dollhouse build

I'll start with not liking that there's no cap to cover the glue when you finish. I would suggest leaving a dollop of glue on the opening to dry and cover it. Other than that, no complaints. I bought this to glue fabric and it works very well. Ilike it better than 'the other white glue' for fabric. I also am making some cross stitch Christmas ornaments, and this glue will not be bulky the way that hot glue would. It's easy to work with, comes out smoothly, spreads easily. No odors. I would definitely recommend for any craft that you don't want to use a glue gun. I folded my fabric over and used small quilt clips to hold it in place. There was no slippage and later that day when I went back to finish it, the glue was dry and the fabric still in place. With appropriate supervision, I can see children using this product successfully as well.

Works well, family friendly

I love this glue! I bought it for my classroom for making holiday ornaments for the parents. We have 20 students and we want the ornaments to last for years. We used it on popsicle sticks to make sparkly trees, Santa faced ornaments and burlap Reindeer. All of the ornaments were perfect and didn't fall apart. The glue binds to anything and always dries clear.

Aleene's Original Tacky Glue, 16 fl oz, Premium All-Purpose Adhesive, White, Dries Clear was perfect for changing the fabric on my living room lamp shades.  My glue gun was good for most of the job but Aleene's Tacky Glue was used for those areas that take more time to adjust the material to the lamp shade.  It dries clear and was perfect for what I needed.

PERFECT FOR CRAFTING AND HOME PROJECTS

I have used gallons of this glue throughout the many years I've been making crafts.  I make greeting cards, do quilling, make craft kits for 2 children's classes I teach at church every week (they use Tacky Glue, too).  My husband and I used to sell crafts at 4 different consignment shops. Many of those items were held together with Aleene's Tacky Glue. Love it!  You can buy it with a cap that allows the bottle to stand upside down, so that it's always ready to use...no waiting for the glue to come out of the tip.  I save that cap and use it on the bottles that don't have it. Depending on what you're using it for, you can thin it down with a drop or two of water.  Great Glue!  Wouldn't be without it!

Aleene, where have you have been all my life???

This stuff is wicked awesome.  First time using this glue.  I am using it to make miniatures, etc… first time at that too..  It is very easy to work and dries just fast enough for my needs. 

Two things I wish:

1.  that I bought the larger size

2. that the cap was a little bigger so it could stand on end.  

If you ever toss the cap out by accident, after an intense crafting session, a wire nut is your friend.

At The Risk of Sounding Tacky

If you are doing any kind of dollhouse work or things that you want to survive longer than a month this is the glue. I have used this for years and all that I have made even if put in storage for years has survived by this glue. Its strong...enough that undoing the glued item is very hard. This is the one and only that I use as the others didn't hold up.

To have crafts and dollhouse kits survive use this

I'm a preschool teacher and this is the only thing I use for googly eyes, gems, sequins, buttons or feathers! It's the only thing that works for sticking things to construction paper.
