I've used this glue for years...I do MANY craft projects and LOVE this glue.  Also, I am in charge of crafts for Vacation Bible School each year, and all of our little crafters are using this glue every night. It dries fast, is easy to apply. I pour a little puddle  in a paper saucer and give the kids Q-tips to use. Works wonderfully well and there's no mess to clean up!!! LOVE Aleene's Tacky Glue

It's the BEST!

Aleene's Original Tacky Glue: I am a botanical artist and I make flowers with dozens of small pieces. Like putting a puzzle together. Aleene's works perfectly to attach the pieces. Unlike other liquid glue which is more moist and a bit slippery, Aleene's is more adhesive and helps the piece stick and stay immediately when placed, then dries clean. Then quickly move on to the next application. A must for delicate crafting! The bottle has a nice pointed tip opening for targeted application with a lift off replaceable lid for storage. The product comes in different sizes and formulas to accommodate your particular needs. I like the travel size Aleene's Original Tacky Glue because it's small and easy to use. (See photos below).

I think they'll love this glue l.  it sticks  very quickly like the name says tacky and you need a little bit of a hold on it so I put a pin on it a close pin for sewing and that works really well just remember don't use it on things that need to be washed or you want something not stiff

This was the best choice to glue together pieces of cloth to cover the corners of the couch. The cat had clawed the edges. 
After gluing the material over the spot it was looking like new.

I needed Tacky Glue for a project. I was happy I found it at Walmart. Incredible price for my favorite glue. I've used since 1985 and never disappointed,  whether paper, fabric, or wood.
