I've always highly regarded Alfred Dunner clothing for years now.  I find for myself and my size, these pants may run slighty large for the size in the waist and pant legs even though plus size myself, but I can wear the size anyway, because I enjoy loose fitting pants on occasion.  They're really stretchy, but like that to be comfortable.  I beleive they would be seemingly water resistant when out in the rain or snow, while the material is thick, but light in weight too.  I can layer wearing leggings underneath them for cold days!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great dress pants. Plus size short is for petite or shorter women. When you sit down the pants no longer cover your ankles if you are not. Had to order plus size and not short to get perfect fit. They shrink a little in the wash and then stretch back out a little when you wear them - mostly in the waistband. Just to manage your expectations. Ended up getting the blue and black colors.
