Love this eyeliner however I had to return it because I could not get the color I wanted and found out that Walmart is discontinuing this particular line of Alamay.  I loved the gel and how smooth it goes on and stays on so well. I used the charcoal carbon color which had a little sparkle in it which I also really liked. I bought the black because I could not find the charcoal and was hoping if I waited long enough it would come back in and I could exchange it but it did not. That's when I found out they were no longer going to carry it. Very disappointed and I'm hoping I can find it in another store somewhere.

I bought Almay eyeliner pencil because I heard it was the best for sensitive eyes. The pigment is not very good it takes a lot for it to stay on the bottom lash line %26 it doesn't stay very well. Trying to put it on upper lid lash line is no better. I wouldn't buy this eyeliner again also the eyeliner lead falls out of the pencil 😣

Not the best

I really loved this product. It glides on so smooth and it lasts all day. The color is perfect. I really recommend that you try this out for yourself.

This eyeliner is amazing.  It stays on, stays put, and glides on like butter.  It's less than half the price of a high end liner that I used to buy.  So much better for my eyes.  I have no idea why there are such bad reviews.  I've sharpened this pencil with a regular
eye pencil sharpener and it works perfectly.  Give it a go, ladies.  Pay no attention to these bad reviews.  It's a keeper!!!!

Best Eyeliner Ever!

I like the product when I first use it , but when it comes time to sharpen it,  it's a no-win situation.   I even bought a new sharpener but it just doesn't touch the hard plastic-like covering on it.   It seems such a shame to have to throw a little used product away, but the plastic is so tough that it's impossible to work with.  What to do ?

This item is unusable. I cannot get the product time to come above the container and therefore, cannot use it. Very disappointed.

NOT HAPPY.

I bought my Almay Gel Liner less than a month ago, after having given up on my Cover Girl Eye Liner which used to be wonderful.  I used a few times and then found that it cannot be extended, let alone sharpened!!!  Being desperate for eyeliner, I looked around my house for an object that is slender enough to fit in the end tube to shove the eyeliner down.  I finally found that a matchstick works.  However, it is only a short-term solution since the matchstick is shorter than the tube.  
Off to the store to buy a totally different self-sharpening eyeliner!!!  Who tested this product, anyway?!!

I have been buying Almay eyeliner for several years. They have changed the product and the method of delivery for application of this product has gotten worse with every "improvement". The first product I used was the one that went with certain eye colors. That was great till the liner product itself got changed to something too soft, which broker when applying. The next 'improvement" was not any better. So I tried the newest one, for which there are no indications that you need a separate sharpener to sharpen the pencil, not advance it with a turn of the base. Well, this is a disaster. First, when sharpening, you lose a lot of product. Second, when you sharpen, if you go too sharp, it breaks when applying. If you don't go so sharp, it's a thick line of liner. Just a disaster and I'm done with this.
